It is but you don't see it. The sheer number of people who end up utterly frustrated with you, and threads that end after such an incident, is evidence. You're like the woman who went to her son's marching out parade and said "It was good but my son was the only one marching in time". Just because you don't believe you do something, or do it deliberately, doesn't mean you aren't doing itanonymous said:

That to me seems like your tacit admission that you have some awareness about your unrelenting persistence with arguments beyond their point of usefulness, and in doing so, irritate people which, in turn (& perhaps without realising), alienates yourselfanonymous said:

Why don't you about me? You are the one always calling troll, you called it first and you've done so before to me and others. I have never mentioned it before today. I can't recall ever getting into such an argument with anyone else on this sub apart from you, can you say the same? Does that make me a troll?I would like to try and finish on a positive note and say, you have much knowledge, experience and understanding around cars, if only you could be more constructive in the way you voice some of your opinion and discourse. If only you didn't needlessly antagonise people with unnecessarily strong language, denigrate other people's opinions and purchases, and generally belittle people who you disagree with. However much you disagree with me and imagine me to be trolling you (I'm really not), why don't you at least reflect on this last paragraph for a few moments. What is the worst that could happen.
I'm glad you can accept that you are blunt and arrogant. Do you not think that combination sounds quite unpleasant though?
Because I find it very unpleasant, and it seems that you're accusing me of making an ad-hom argument, simply for pointing this out to you. Which is actually pretty hypocritical, another phrase you like to throw out there.
Just as a suggestion, and again trying to be positive against your deluge of vitriol, why don't you try *not* being blunt and arrogant just for a bit and see if you (and countless others) prefer it? They're hardly aspirational characteristics.

Well unlike you I have no hard feelings, and I'd like to add, on your making of friends and driving their cars for your very interesting reviews, I don't know if you checked out my garage - but it's a damn shame I haven't got the 1984 Micra any more - I would genuinely have let you try it. It would have been right up your street - not the most power, but manual, no power steering, cable throttle, no rear seatbelts, LW radio, and it really made you feel alive, just driving at 50. Was even better when I realised it had run out of oil and topped up with 1l. A true analogue car. jakesmith why are you on this post? My OP was to highlight to those interested that the Ohlins might become available soon for our cars, as far as I can see everyone else who posted has some interest (positive or negative) or a view on it, your input was just to stir up some beef you've had previously with Moose (whose opinion I happen to value whether I agree with it or not). Unless it's a posting about the original topic I'd appreciate you sorting out your issues elsewhere.

Depending on how low you go you may want rear adjustable toe links to give decent camber and toe. Also depending on your roads or track then some front adjustable camber arms, but I'd presume the Ohlins will come with adjustable top mounts so not then necessary.
'Fraid not, the R&T's utilise the standard top mounts :Slippydiff said:
That's a shame but good job I have some adjustable top mounts anyway I would have thought if you are going to the expense of new dampers then you will want to optimise the geo. I'm a big advocate of the drilling of top most slot as done it on both my cars now. It's cost effective. It sounds drastic and intrusive but quite honestly most people would never know even if they looked.

If I may be chime in, please, thanks. I thought the serious dampers come with remote reservoirs. Is there anything with remotes available for this platform?
How big is your wallet? JRZ RS Pro circa $6,500. If you are really that serious then you'd probably be thinking a tin top car rather than Boxster. ATM said:

Yellow Speed do some with remotes and they also have adjustable top mounts. £1570http://www.yellowspeedeurope.com/manufacturer-sele...
