Very interested in the Techart paddles myself as after 18 months, I still occasionally change down instead of up. Luckily, haven't buzzed the engine seriously yet.

Guess that Porsche/their warranty insurers would invalidate the policy if these paddles are fitted.

.
You can't buzz the engine - the ecu/box won't let you - it will prevent a downchange that would do so.

This is most probably the case

Most cars with the multifunction steering wheel (PDK back/forward button) will be out of warranty now anyway though.

Should have made it clear that I was referring to the OPC extended warranties. Mine runs until November 2018.

Guess even if my OPC fitted the paddles, the warranty would be voided as the paddles were not Porsche original equipment.

I've sent TechArt and email to see how much their paddles cost for the multifunction wheel.

Then I will have the best of both. - Depending on price of course!!
When I looked into this in 2014 (I had the same "best of both worlds" thought) I seem to recall the TechArt paddles had been discontinued. Have they started making them again?

Let us know as others may be interested.

Hi Guys,

I figured that I adjust the volume more often that I change gear
Bit late to say it, but I think this may have been your problem! Stop fiddling with the radio and drive the damn thing! wink

Each to his own and I'm glad you're managing to sort it, but personally I hate the MF wheel and shift buttons and wouldn't buy a car with them. I'd much rather reach for the console every now and then than deal with those shift buttons and have to look at it. Keep the sport design wheel and offer it to the next owner, you'll have a much bigger resale market IMO

I couldn't even get an OPC to put a non-standard geo on my old GT3!! hehe

Can you PM me your email address? I'll forward you the email that I got from them

In short I was told that yes they do do them and that they have 2 fitters; one in London and one up north.
