718 spec remorse?

We specced leather dash and from a cleaning view point I wish we added leather dash vents as it's a pain to clean and treat leather without getting the plastic greasy. This is a small problem i admit.
So far chrono is under used. Keep telling myself that the mode select is worth it alone but it's a lot of money and Ms Shost probably won't use it but she likes the clock.

Have you got any pics of your interior Tim? I've ordered Black Sport-tex without having seen it in the flesh, found the Graphite Blue/Crayon ones I sat in at PEC super comfy.
Si, had a few pics of the black sport tex from when I first bought the car. Not great pics but should give an impression of what it's like.We have a Boxster S as a loan car this weekend....it's a lovely drive. We've got a Boxster on order for Mrs Cheib which we'll get in the autumn. Vert high spec car...PCCB's, Adaptive Seats, Full Leather, LED lights etc.
The car doesn't have Sports Chrono but does have a "Sport" button....anyone care to enlighten me ?
The PSE seems to have three modes...off...on via the PSE switch and then when I put it in Sports mode....the volume gets turned up another notch with some fairly artificial noises on the over run.

Are you sure Mrs Cheib will be happy with the PCCB's? They can squeak badly according to friends that have owned cars with them.

PDK? If so Sport will make gear changes occur at higher revs and will disable the coast function (on lift off instead of going into overrun in Normal goes into "neutral" - or more likely "lifts" the clutch) Saves a lot of fuel on motorways, but since it prevents any engine braking, not everyone likes it, Sport disables it. There is also a button which disables both it and auto stop/start.The car doesn't have Sports Chrono but does have a "Sport" button....anyone care to enlighten me ?

While I've always thought that leather was a silly material for car seats (hot in summer, cold in winter, slippy all year round) I think that Porsche have a real nerve in charging a huge premium for cloth ones- functionally better though they almost certainly are.

Si, had a few pics of the black sport tex from when I first bought the car. Not great pics but should give an impression of what it's like. What Porsche is charging for with the Sport-Tex option is essentially the deviated stitching option (although you are limited to the grey stitching), which is ~£1800 with full leather (Sport-Tex comes with the full leather dash etc). So relatively speaking, if you want deviated stitching and prefer cloth, it's actually a ~£400 saving to get the Sport-Tex.
Either way, full leather or Sport-Tex are expensive options but I think you really need to get what you like when spending this kind of cash...and Porsche knows this...it would be much more expensive to try and save the money when buying the car and then spend your period of ownership wishing you'd ticked the box, hence this thread I suppose.
