Interesting to see what will be on offer but this will invalidate your warranty.

I'd be tempted to get in touch with litchfield or someone highly reputable.
Be interesting what figures they can safely pull

Litchfield use the AccessPort system to tune via the OBD port. They are a credible and engineering led operation so give them a call. I'd be interested in what they can offer.

I have my 911 modified by Parr Motorsport in Crawley.

I spoke to my contact there a little while ago about 718 tuning as I'm thinking about doing this with a Boxster S. They have some first hand experience of this with one company tuning (tune, exhaust and intakes) the 718 to near 400bhp.

Call Lawrence at Parr and he'll be able to run through the options.

Jens @ Ehresmann Automotive already does 450hp

Sorry, my post may not have been too clear, Parr have first hand experience of a 400bhp tune I believe (may be more now) and can vouch for reliability, use ability etc.

I have read about higher tunes but can't recommend to the OP.

I would say Ehresmann Automotive is the market leader and Parr prob buys in a kit/tune maybe even one of Jens kits or a Cobb reseller.

They never seem to develop their own stuff and are normally twice the price !

Yep, Parr tend to work as authorised dealers/fitters not manufacturers.

I think a 718 at 400 - 450bhp with a few suspension tweaks and some bucket seats could be a fun car, I need to get out and drive one.

I'd be very interested in knowing more about the upgrades offered by Ehresmann Automotive.

I presume you would need to take the car to Germany for them to do the work

Check the website and Facebook page. Videos, write ups, dyno plots tech specs a plenty.

Yeah I've seen it. I presume the car has to go to Germany for the remap as no one in the U.K. Is currently offering similar

I done alot of research and so far there is only 2 option that is easily accessible for us in the UK.
1, VR tuning box 800 USD - ( i'm on 718 fb group so i know one guy is running it)
2 Techart tuning box at 4000 euro or something ( not heard anyone using it yet and brochure says 100 octane fuel required)

Other thing i heard of is MTM tuned 718S but that is a german company so unless you will drive over alot , don't bother.

Cobb has not managed to crack the ECU so i doubt they will ever do it.
I don't fancy a remap that requires dismantling the ECU, with tuning box i can just remove it and remove all trace.
Ideally i like to find out more info on those boxes to find out what parameter it reads from ecu, in my bmw days jb4 reads alot more data than simply adding more boost.

I am new to Porsche tuning scene so i don't know which one is the big players on the tuning side here.

What are the prices for cargraphic tuning box?

Thanks
