Interesting - do you know why you couldn't spec it?
It needs perforated material in the seat swabs. Alcantara isn't available from Porsche Perforated. So you have to spec leather trim if you want vented seats.
Thanks too, non ventilated seats it'll have to be.. I want the alcantara

The GTS interior package does not worth 2.5k extra. i would keep standard and use the Money for electric seat or pdk.

My current add on
Carrera white
PDK
Auto folding mirror
Auto Dimming/rain sensor mirror
Lane change warning
Reverse sensor and camera
18 way seats
cruise control
Multifuctional wheel
heated seats
light desgin
steering wheel alcatara delete

Assuming we get these standard
Carrera S wheels in black
Sport chrono
PASM
Sport Exhuast
PDSL
Gts bodykit
Gt wheel in alcatara
Alcatara standard interior
Similar spec to our 981GTS. I didn't like the GTS interior, the carbon trim makes the interior coal cellar dark, and £2k + for deviated stitching, carbon trim, red or silver edged seat belts and red or grey tachometer was daft money IMO. I had interior package painted (Carrara white) which looks really elegant and lifted the interior. On 981 GTS black wheels were not standard, over and above S spec it had full leather dash top and door trim, lower part of dash, door card inserts, grab handles, steering wheel, and gear lever / PDK selector in alcantara, GTS stitched on headrests, PASM, sport chrono incl. dynamic engine mounts, PDLS lights, sports seats plus, GTS front and rear spoilers, smoked rear lights.

any pics?

After owning all my cars with black interior. i want to go for full leather black and red but would be stupid to drop the GTS stabdard interior, people might think the car be a fake GTS and lots of people are fan of thr alcatara which im not.

Thanks - but I don't think the interior package painted looks good in all colours, however.

Suits a Boxster much more than a Cayman too IMHO, looks nice with the roof down.

I've been watching with interest as fancied a 718 GTS but haven't seen any mention of it in the Frankfurt press so maybe the launch isn't going to happen next month as expected?

I thought that, but they have been going on about the GT3 Touring more than anything, so perhaps they want to stagger their 'news'? I doubt it, tho.

No News on the Telegraph / Cars website today either ... very depressing .

Still WG and I will find out more when we attend the Show on Friday 22'nd September ..... one of us or even both of us will report back to this Forum .

Thank you - the car is our pride and joy, but I couldn't imagine a GTS without that wondrous flat six engine, it really is the heart and soul of the car.

If it was going to be announced at Frankfurt Motor Show would it be news by now? I noticed the show opened Sept 12th for the press. Or would it typically happen further into the event?

Would be here by now I think. Maybe it'll get its own release outside of the shows.
