Interesting. Does that hint at further delays then?
I wonder why they would include the previous GT4 over even say the 718 GTS. (I appreciate the 4 pot hasn’t won everyone over but no way Porsche would deliberately insult their own product?
Why is it an insult, it could've been any Porsche displayed on the PCM?I wonder why they would include the previous GT4 over even say the 718 GTS. (I appreciate the 4 pot hasn’t won everyone over but no way Porsche would deliberately insult their own product?
Hmm. Seems odd that they would show a previous generation vehicle rather than a brand new one. Especially considering it’s tucked away in the launch promo for a brand new car.
Maybe it doesn’t mean anything, and in proper piston head fashion I’m sure I’m over analysing. Seems an odd choice of car to include to me though. Why not something from the near future or at least something currently available. If not either of them then maybe a classic that represents the brand.
Seems to me that this specific car suggests they want to show it off. On that basis I think it’s strange that it’s not the new model on there.

Correct, I was told they will push the button on the new 992 first as this will bring a bigger audience, which = more money.
I guess we will all just have to sit tight and wait and see. The new car is coming with the new emissions filter and they are apparently getting better results with the new turbo charged engine going in the new 992. The 4.0 is apparently not producing as good emission results due to being N/A, I think we can safely say it’s going to be N/A. What was pointed out to me is they will have better emissions with the pdk box, so they may offer this to help with emission targets as every car counts.
Car should apparently be on the roads by the 2nd quarter next year.
Has anyone heard anything about the revised suspension?
That is exactly what idid post on page 94 ! Just based on common sense, Fokker and CMOOSE do have other opinions though, fine of course, that is just what forums are about.I guess we will all just have to sit tight and wait and see. Not logical either, because GT3 with only PDK where later offered MT, so buyers did have their choice.
Currently there are difficulties on the WLTP cycle, so PDK offering on the 718GT4 could be profitable for Porsche on (total) CO2/NOx emissions.
You are being told as I do read; "What was pointed out to me is they will have better emissions with the pdk box, so they may offer this to help with emission targets as every car counts" Not logical either, because GT3 with only PDK where later offered MT, so buyers did have their choice.

Can you elaborate who dit point that out?
