Sorry Si, I actually like the colour (as per my comment on the green McLaren in the 'blandness thread'). Clip made me laugh though. Marmite as you say smile

(Unless that was a reaction to the Germann equaliser, in which case I quite understand..)

Nah, I was laughing at the clip, it’s the kind of ribbing my mates give me over it so don’t worry, found it really funny biggrin

Hi All,

I've been a modified SEAT owner since 2007, started with a modified Ibiza TDI, then Leon FR TDI, then MK2 Leon Cupra R and my current MK3 Leon Cupra 280 which is running 420ps at the moment.

I fancy something completely different, I have been looking and quite fancy a Cayman S, ideally I want a starting base of 300ps+ so looking at 2010 models on wards.

my 2014 Cupra is fully loaded with tech, LED headlights, DAB, Bluetooth, Sat-Nav, auto lights , heated seats etc etc etc. So I'm looking for a Porsche with a similar level.

are most of these standard on Cayman S or are they optional extras? is there any optional extras that are must haves?

What years have what power? And apart from Software (I'm looking at APR as I have been a APR customer on both my petrol Cupra's) what else can be done to add a little more poke? I've not owned a standard car since 2007 haha.
I have a really nice example on sale via 911Virgin, it's the Sapphire blue one.

Found it, love the outside colour! not so sure I could live with the interior colour. Maybe you have some more photos?

Spec looks very good, very low mileage as well, I've been looking at OPC cars for the same £££££ with twice the miles.

This example is my 79th 981 series Porsche, they are amazing cars, but spec needs to be right for your needs...

I have owned it for 2 months, the interior colour of Yatching blue is amazing and the exterior/interior condition is flawless, plus it has the right options and 1 years remaining Porsche Warranty.

The outside looks amazing especially the wheels, just still not 100% on that interior haha. I'm talking to them about it, unfortunately by time I've shifted mine it will probably be gone!

Guessing the PSE is the exhaust that you can open the flap on?

Thanks, whichever 981 you will settle upon, make sure it has the PSE option.

To be fair I was thinking about modding the car I buy anyway with GT3 throttle body and remap aswell as intake.

If I don't have yours I will only be settling for a white one or blue now.

Fizzbomb, as you have more experience than most on the 981 cayman, I’m surprised that you specced one without PASM as I’d been led to believe that it’s a must have option.

Disregarding the blue one, lovely as it is, what would be your recommended options for a 981s?
