To ‘upgrade’ or not? 981GTS to 911.

i'm kind of glad that it's not just me who finds this a hard call to make.
Not hard at all for some of us! Losing the fabulous NASP flat six engine would rule out a 991.2 for me, so unless you're looking at a 997 GTS, 991.1 GTS or any GT3/RS then I can't see the 911 is "worth" the substantial price increase. The 997 is older and feels a bit dated compared to the 981, so I'd personally rule that out too. The GTS and GT3 engines are peaches though, so yer pays yer money and takes yer choice!£30k extra for the 991.1 GTS over the 981 GTS is a lot of miles/road trips/track days.......
...also... the 911 is a bit, well, common?
You see them all the time and everyone knows what it is, another person in his 911, yawn...
I would hazard a guess the Cayman is a fair bit rarer. With no model designation on mine most folks have no idea what it is, and I quite like that. Plus, of course, it looks far better than a 911.
