1969 vintage VW Beetle 1500 (a portent of things to come)
Mk1 Golf GTI 1.8
Peugeot 309
Saab 9000 S
BMW E36 328i coupe
BMW E92 335i coupe
997 C2S
981 2.7 Cayman
981 Cayman GTS

These span from 1985, when I was 23, to now. I tend to hang on to cars.

Using mums Fiat Punto 1.2
Porsche 997.1 C4S
Nissan Micra
Nissan Note

The Nissan Note and the Porsche are still here. I decided a while back to just save up my cash then buy a Porsche rather than paying out to run a smaller hatchback or whatever. Also I was living in Glasgow city centre so it'd cost to park and you don't really need a car if your in the city centre.

Plan is to keep the Porsche forever finances permitting.

I went the direct route. My first Porsche was also my first ever car, a Porsche 928 S4 (see profile pic). Age 27, literally emptied my savings account to buy it. Very sensible! smile

Surprised at that I thought they generally did all handovers inside. Mine was covered etc aswell
Yeah, they usually do, but had the nerve to tell me it wasn’t in the handover bay because someone else’s new car was already in the bay waiting for collection later that day.... Why was that car already in the bay when my collection time was first? Just didn’t make sense to me. I was totally gutted, and they were about to take me outside in the freezing cold to show me the car’s controls and functions! No chance. Told them to move my car inside ASAP.
