Waze?

Is it possible to play waze through the latest sat nav on Porsche cars please?

Doesn’t look like it. Seems that Apple policy is to prevent any third party apps to use CarPlay. Having said that, I just googled waze CarPlay and checked the first 10 or so hits.

Waze was sold a couple of years ago, having been built by two guys in Israel. When they put it up for sale, apparently Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Apple were all bidding for it (imagine that!). Google got it, for $1.3bn! Perhaps that's why it doesn't show up on Apple Carplay. I love Waze and would love to see it as the primary SatNav in my car.

I get the audio prompts from Waze through the PCM when my iPhone is plugged in to Car Play. If I am listening to the radio it’ll interrupt it to warn of a speed camera. Also a big fan!

Does it not work with Android auto now? My Skud has carplay and Android auto but my work Samsung is to old and doesn't support it... Im sure I saw someone post a workaround using a Pioneer head unit and IOS somewhere.. currently use Waze on a phone with a vent mount , couldn't do without it the miles I do ..
