UPDATE !
My GT4 has been SORNed during the winter and as subject to a recall has now had a new gearbox installed. I asked the OPC to review the historic investigation of the clutch pedal problem when removing the gearbox so they could inspect the clutch more thoroughly in respect of the problem. When I was sent the video of the change out the service technician showed me the movement of clutch lever in the gearbox housing and there was a substantial difference in the pressure required to move the lever with the new gearbox lever being much easier and smoother to operate. So hopefully the root cause has been found but til
the car is driven I won't know. I guess this leads to ask why the gearbox wasnt dropped to inspect the clutch when the problem occurred for the second time but I guess Porsche did not view this as necessary. I'm collecting the car today and plan to ask what follow up will be done to ensure the issue is closed out but I'm not holding my breath ....
Will post a further update after some driving, here's hoping it's now resolved.

Sounds promising and I hope it's now sorted for you.

Got mine back yesterday after the gearbox change and even though I've not had the clutch pedal problem that you've had, I would say that the pedal now feels slightly lighter but I guess that could be due to minor adjustments carried out during the swap.

I’ve had exactly the same issue. The local OPC bled the clutch system and the issue hasn’t returned.

The car is off for the gearbox change tomorrow so will ask the OPC to check the clutch whist the gearbox is off.

In my case, I can report that as of today I have had no feedback from my OPC regarding the clutch problem in April this year. I was insistant that the issue and video evidence was forwarded to Porsche headquarters along with the gearbox so that the problem was identified and rectified for future users but sadly as expected there has been no feedback to date. The car is absolutely fine now and clutch mechanism is normal.

Thanks for the info, what if any parts did they change, also if they did change parts was it warranty or good will or did you have to pay, regards John

There was no cost involved to me or Porsche for that matter as I believe the problem was in the clutch fork mechanism which is integral to the full gearbox assembly.

Having a similar problem with my GT4 (9,600miles) been back to OPC, who bled system, a little air found, and a replacement pedal pin, just in case, before vehicle returned to me. Has run okay for a few miles since. The clutch pedal had originally stuck down when moving into 1st gear, so had to push off road before I found pedal could be pulled back up, was okay then for a while, but now more confusing, the clutch pedal has lowered itself on four separate occasions, Yes, it's been up when left in the garage and then i've found it down a few days later. I thought the first time this happened that I'd left it down and it had not returned when I parked it, however I have made a conscious effort to check when I put it away to make sure its up, yet three times I have found it down on my return. The pedal pulls back up by hand, and it does need a good pull to raise it, then clunk, up it comes and then appears to be okay for a while. The pedal does have to have weight applied to it when changing gear, nothing strange, feels normal, but how does it pull itself down against the spring mechanism?
Only had the car for 2.5 weeks and now so going back to OPC again.
Has anybody experienced same ghost pedal issue? There are no leaks from anywhere, the clutch fluid level is constant, no change or loss of fluid.
Vehicle registered April 16. Is this a clutch mechanism or gearbox issue? Any similar issues and resolution found would be most welcome.

I went through this.. but ultimately i did have a leak.
3rd originally broke on track @ Silverstone. My car was not initially in the campaign - but when i got it to the OPC, they spoke to Germany and it got added. Happy Days. Gearbox got replaced... got fast tracked..so thumps up to OPC.
But when i got the car back i immediately commented that the clutch pedal action was totally different.
I took the car, and then did 2 track day events - one at Donington and then another at Goodwood.
At the Goodwood day - i came back to the car after lunch - and went to move it and the clutch pedal had a big hesitation to the point where i thought it was going to stay down. It did actually come up - but it put a doubt in my mind that the initial feeling i had was actually a problem.
I drove the car on track the rest of the day no issue. But booked the car back into the OPC.
It remained with them for other week or so - during which we thought we had fixed it twice.
Initially all pedal pushing replaced, upon collection - I went to the car, opened door - looked in the pedal box and the clutch was already on the floor.
Next was new Master Cylinder, power spring, and complete bleed.... I went to the car, opened door - looked in the pedal box and the clutch was already on the floor, again!
We looked again - I was with the engineers and noticed that when pumping the clutch you could hear that fluid or air was passing the system indicating some leak, we looked around and the hose coming of the reservoir didn't look too good, upon further investigation it was actually not fitting properly and leaking. Got this changed out, full bleed and refill - All fixed.
Took a while to get this all sorted from the initial fault - but the OPC looked after me, provided me with courtesy cars, prioritised my car over other jobs, and even though I lost my track day fee for 1 day that i booked for, but couldn't drive on - they extended a goodwill gesture.
Overall happy it got sorted. Has been fine since then... loads of track days since - Donington, Goodwood , Zandoort x2, Goodwood again Silverstone x2, Donington again and finally Silverstone x3.
