Hi George, Many thanks - nice little trick! I assume same goes for all OPC dealers?
Yep it is the same for all OPC dealers and is due to the way Porsche have set up their used website. So it will work on any OPC used car.

One of my mates was at a dealer and was told that the car had just recently arrived. He wanted me to check out the options on it and using that trick I found it had been on the forecourt for 2.5 months due to the winter period.

just had a play about & here's one way (i think).

once you are on a car's page on the Used Locator, simply right-click in Chrome on any of the car's photos, then choose "Save Image As...."

The first few numbers in the filename that the image wants to be saved as will give away how long the car has been on their server.

E.g. "20180504142528779_003"

That was added in May 2018

Tells you when the picture was taken and uploaded. Reasonable assumption as to how long they have had it..........

e.g. look at this sorry 991.1 Carrera

http://locator.porsche.com/ipl-customer/ipl/detail...

Right click on the photo to see it's been there since December '17.

Yep spot on. Was not going to publicise in case Porsche ever close that loophole in how they display the cars on the website
