Small speaker recommendations?

I've just bought an Echo Dot, the plan was to hook it up to an old Creek amp and a pair of Mordaunt Short bookshelf speakers. The problem is that the speakers (elderly MS3-10s) although small are still too big for where I planned to put them. Any recommendations for small (cheap) new or second hand speakers? Ideally the front face would be smaller than a sheet of A4 paper.
I've already got a sub + satellites which can't easily be used (there is only one 2 channel input and that's in use) so don't really want to go the 2.1 route twice in the same room.
Thanks

I'd be worried he's not sensitive enough for my setup - he'd probably work better with more power.

Thanks for all the suggestions - no experience with any of these so I need to read some reviews.
Also looking at Roth Oli RA1s if anyone has any opinions on those....

Wonder what Mr Wilson would say if he knew I was going to use them with an echo dot and a 30 year old Creek 4040 amp.
'Thanks for the £11K' probably.

I have a Bose Lifestyle 50 and a 48, both bought secondhand. The 50 is in our kitchen/family room and gets used for watching TV, listening to music and for an Apple iMac. The 48 is in the sitting room connected to a projector.

I know people love to slate Bose, but the double cube speakers are very discreet, fill the room with clear and good quality (to my ears) sound, and didn’t cost the earth.

I didn't say new, I stated both were second hand. I paid £400 for the 48. The OP also states he will consider second hand.

Not convinced they will be smaller than the MS, but the 3010 might be.

OP asked for smaller than A4 (297 x 210) and cheap.

3020's are 260mm x 170mm and £120
