Which Oil Cayenne Diesel 2012

I'd like to top up our oil but not sure which oil to get. Internet searches come up with 0W/40 10W/40 or 15W/40 - what would they have added from Porsche themselves? It's a normal Cayenne runaround so want to just top up with what it usually comes with.

It should be 5w30 meeting VW 507 00.

Yes, Porsche recommend Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 for the diesel - they obviously get lots of money from Mobil for saying that, but you can use anything as long as it meets Porsche C30 specs (or VW equivalent) which require it to reduce contaminants entering the DPF.

The Porsche indy that recently serviced my diesel used Shell Helix Ultra ECT C2/C3 0W-30 and it runs fine. It is using a little bit more than it did than with the Mobil 1 because it's a slightly thinner oil, but nothing out of the ordinary.

P236 of the Cayenne drivers manual (2012) says the recommended oil is SAE 5W-30 for the diesel.

Hi all, Porsche changed the oil spec, for v6 petrol and diesel from 0w40 to 5w30.I only use Mobil 1 esp in all my customer cars of this type.
