So are these okay with regards to Porsche Warranty? Thinking of getting some for my 981 CGTS, I’m guessing you need to notify your insurer of the modification too?
Also, never notified insurance company as I did not see it as a significant modification

Are you going to fit them yourself, is it easy?

Yeah I will, watched a few vids and it looks pretty straightforward even for a spanner like me biggrin

I can’t even change a light bulb, I have had 3 Porsche cars fitted with these grills in the past, luckily by the previous owner....

Normally I see the words 'Zunsport grill' and brace for some really poor looking grills that look extremely aftermarket but both those from the OP and the chap with the guards red 991 911 look very good! I really disliked the ones they did for some of the older Porsche's but I'd actually say those improve the 718 looks rather than making them worse. thumbup

OK with OPC Leicester under warranty AND extended warranty 111 point check. They thought the grilles were a great idea.

It would be nice if Porsche could send out a message to the OPCs so that they were all singing of the same hymn sheet because I’ve been told that my car wouldn’t pass the 111 point check with Zunsport grills fitted and they will therefore void the warranty.

Of course I can do that but why should I have to? It’s my car and all the grilles are doing is protecting a part of my car and if I take it to a different OPC to my nearest it’s not a problem.

As this seems to be an issue with some OPCs .... why not canvas our Local or Supplying OPC to obtain an official Porsche response .

I have now done so and will report back soon .

Regardless how we argue it protects the radiator , as long as it isn’t a approve part that has million pound testing it give them a loop hole to bend us over
