After seeing the damage 7k had started to do and the potential for a holing from stones and debris off our wonderful roads it was a no-brainer to fit these. As for the warranty aspect, I would really require Porsche to justify why they fit protection to the more expensive models and neglect to do the same to others. As far as I can see that is the 'case law'. I suppose there may just be special targeted higher model specific stones laid at night to justify the discrepancy, but I doubt it.

Anyway- it is the hypothetical possibility of a claim on a warranty versus the probability of an expensive bit of damage which will NOT be covered by any warranty. My previous TT had 1 wing mirror housing split by a stone and the front dam/spoiler covered with significant chips in the plastic from debris. A ridiculous piece of cost saving...

I’ve fitted ours now and am happy with them.

The other day at work, with a dirty car.....

This was today, of the ‘whole car’ after a wash smile
The grills don’t really attract much attention imo.

Better?

Yes .. the grilles look great . Did you fit yourself ? How easy was it ? Are they available in Satin Black to match the car's mouldings ?

They look good to me. I would also be interested to know how easy you found them to fit? I assume they are fitted from the back??Considering some for my GTS too.

I think it’s just gloss black and chrome available.
They really don’t look glossy once fitted anyway. They’re down at ankle level and don’t catch any light to reflect.

They were way easier than the 981 set I had. No clips to line up and fit to at all.
They just have hooks on the ends and one or two along the sides.

Hook in at one end, slide / push the grill into place, then use a small screwdriver, to push the other hook into place behind the grill, via the grill holes.
They took longer to open, unpack and check, than they did to fit!

There's a few small screws for the front grilles, screwed into the car's plastic trim, on a 981C.

Mine were installed by Zunsport, no installation charge.

Already may have saved me a new rad. I found a wooden spike sticking into the mesh one day. No damage to the grille.

Here you go.

Zunsport sent me a membership card which entitles friends to a 15% discount off their website advertised prices. I didn’t ask to become a member of their club it just arrived, they do a prize draw every quarter for £250.

www.zunsport.com

Member number is 1006 38045 I guess you use it at checkout.

15% discount at check out but I hear that if you ring them they will do the same when asked, don’t know if that’s true but someone on line said so...... so it must be true.

Cheers
Ed

Yes there’s a place at checkout to put in the membership of someone you (don’t really) know to get the discount. I’ll post up pics when they’ve arrived and I’ve fitted them. Many thanks.

Just to confirm they are very easy to fit, the instructions in fact seem to make it look more difficult than it actually is. You do need to mask up the bodywork if worried about scratches but a very easy process. They will come out reasonably easily as well - I found you just push them in and hook them out - no damage to bodywork.

With freely available discounts available online and by calling them direct it makes you wonder if they 15% too expensive in the first place?

Zunsport Grilles fitted today ..... Really pleased with the look .

Fairly easy to fit . The lower sections were slightly oversize and had to be squeezed in and the full width centre section did not quite follow the curve of the Black apperture . This section would have benefitted from an extra clip in the centre to ' pull in ' the grille .

However i may be ultra critical . The quality seems excellent and transforms the car in my opinion .

Took some pics today in the sunshine and will ( hopefully ) post them here ..................... Before ......
