Just remind us again - you're one of a tiny handful of "genuine enthusiasts" with a "real driver's car". Well done.

Please accept my most sincere apologies for polluting your world by buying a 981 with some nice cup-holders to ease my pottering to the shops....

Chassis? Engine? Naaah, who cares.

An interesting comparison here between the two cars! Both finished on the online trade auction today, the 981 is a high spec. Add onto both final figures, £120 buyers fee!
Not sure what the comparison is? One is the base 718 the other a 981 s .If you are comparing what they sell for then maybe a 2.7 against it or a 718s? A car which has ceased production has limited availabilty so if you want one the pool to choose from is much smaller , another good example is a mk2 focus
I realise it takes a little effort to find the reason for my post, but you may find it in the heading!!
981S v 781 base!!!!!!!!! Dur!!

So I’ve found a 981 S with the right options that I was looking for apart from the dual zone climate control. Ideally would have preferred dual zone. 3 previous owners so I would be 4th, is that normal/okay for this car? Thanks

You've been blithering negatively about 981 at every possible moment since the day it was launched. You were wrong then and you're wrong now. The market has proved you wrong by reflecting high demand for the car - yet still you churn out the same bigoted nonsense.

Meanwhile we see ODRALLAG posting in this thread and just about to buy himself an excellent 981S. Enjoy!

Assuming the car is anything from 3 to 7 years old then 1 owner per 1 or 2 years sounds fairly normal for cars like these. If you wonder around a Porsche showroom you'll often see cars less than a year old for sale with 1 or 2 owners already.

Regards the spec my view is that these were so poorly specced as standard that pretty much every car for sale is different so you just need to decide on your "must haves" and "would likes" to make or break a deal.

Thanks for the replies on the no. of owners

Spec is Pdk, PSE, pasm, bose, park sensors F+R, extended leather, 20” classic wheels, sports seats plus 2 way, PCM (does PCM include Bluetooth for mobile connectivity?) and a couple of other small bits. Ideally would have had sports chrono and dual zone but other than them two, any must haves missing?

Phone connection was a separate option I think? Worth checking with the seller. DAB was also an option I think, if you want it.

not bad, when I was looking I only wanted Sport Crono and PSE, I ended up with them all + GTS bodykit etc.

Some of the options can be enabled through getting an activation code and PIWIS II. Such as auto wipers.

38,500 is what we got for our GTS, mind you it'd done some big miles so seemed ok against a GT4
