Dose anybody know when Porsche will resume production of cars for the U.K. market ?
I understand that it is due to the new emissions

They've started up production of the new Macan....with first cars due in Nov I believe . Don't know about others. for 991.2 it seelms that OPC's are only going to get a small number of GTS's before they start 992. That's the last I was told.

No idea about other models.

With the Macan it's initially only going to be possible to order the cars in one of four trim/spec levels....each one has a set of 10 to 15 options e.g. Wheels, PASM, Roof Bars, Seat Heating etc Apparently not possible to order options that are not part of those packages or deviate from them....supposedly because of emissions testing i.e. cars have had to be tested in those set configurations. That is presumably why you can only order a GTS and perhaps then ability to do your own box ticking will be limited.

Sounds like a bit of a st show....

I agree poor show! there's nothing like adding your preferred spec to a car.

Its precisely this very reason i've heard that threre will be no WP option for the second batch WLTP .2 RSs.

I was told no factory orders until October this year.
Factory normally have a 6 week shutdown over the summer anyway.
Also a new factory was being built for Taycan production and retooling for the latest 911
Looking to order a new 718, told by OPC not to expect delivery until 2nd quarter of next year!

I placed a deposit in May and this week was given a build slot in November - although exact date still tbc. Interestingly, the exact spec of the post-WLTP car is still not known, nor the final pricing. That said, the OPC expects minor amendments to both.
