Picking my Spyder up next week, feeling like a kid again in mid December!!
4 years on the list, a GT4 & GTS all bought and returned to my OPC, my old 987 Spyder serviced and warrantied with them also, and I’m finally got the motor I want...
hope that did not cost you too much.4 years on the list, a GT4 & GTS all bought and returned to my OPC, my old 987 Spyder serviced and warrantied with them also, and I’m finally got the motor I want...
I think this is why OVERS market works, some would rather pay overs then play games.

That's about £5K over list now then - getting to the point it's worth considering if you like the spec....https://www.top555.co.uk/stock/details/Porsche-Cay...

not odd imo, they are gauging GTS interest sales and allocation slots on those to supply cars fast.
I still get chased to place an order for one.
Once those dry up OPC will get GT4 slots again.
Porsche are not daft, they release these cars at key times.
I wonder if it's maybe the current China factory situation due to coronavirus, and Porsche are focussing on getting parts for the high volume/high yield models such as Macans and 911s and less so on the 718 series. Given their just-in-time processes it could be having a big impact on car production as it is for other companies.I still get chased to place an order for one.

not when your OPC phones you daily to order a GTS, they must have slots or if not real slots, targets for the GTS 4.0 imo.these will then get put to Porsche and empty slots retuned to GT4's and Spyders.

How about if you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything at all? A good open debate is great but I think jumping on new car threads and piddling on someones parade isn't that cool at all if the spec isn't to your liking.
I'm sorry, you're right, a bit harsh but you get the frustration! The Porsche boards really need a pointless bickering and dick swinging thead and let people have it out in there, as every thread gets derailed by it, and the same arguments happen in dozens of threads! It's so tedious my OPC has to come and tuck me in each night so I feel calmed before going to sleep!

I was at my OPC last week and my SA said they hadn't received any more build slots as yet. It's a bit odd as they should have had them by now for Q2 builds.
There are limited built slots for normal 718’s too....my OPC literally has two for normal 718’s up until the end of Q2.Hatfield have got a 718 Spyder in the showroom...been there for a month I think. Crayon, Spyder interior, Comfort Seats, Steel Brakes. Up for £98k....about £10k over list.

not said anything negative, posted a link to a GT4 which has dropped £10k and said my OPC is trying to sell me a GTS !!! a car I don't want. How about if you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything at all? I have opinions on cars, not on people, if people kept their opinions on cars it would be a far nicer place.
