The new 718 Gt4/Spyder are here!
Discussion
Was told I had to the end of the month to spec, so have sent over my final revision.
In the end I have gone a bit crazy with spec: Miami blue, black wheels, PCCBs and Clubsport. In a desperate bid to keep it under the psychological £100k barrier is no climate (what's wrong with air con, after all) and no Chrono on the basis of that it does absolutely nothing.
Am I being silly? It would work out as another grand for things I don't use.

Depends how long you are keeping the car.
I have no chrono on the GT4 and 'manuel' aircon on the GT4 and Spyder which works fine contrary to what others say.
But there's no doubting most buyers used want chrono and climate so for £1k it may be worth speccing and possibly forgoing other items of spec for in the process.

Thanks for input. Would anyone jump into the car and even be aware it 'only' has air con?
Chrono is the one I am worried about, but it just seems pointless when it is merely a lap timer. If it changed throttle maps, or had wet mode etc. like on the 911, then I'd be all for it.
Not sure if you need Chrono to make the TrackPrecision app work in the 718 as you did in 981, but given latest version of the app is a bit st you wouldn't be missing out on much. Don't think the G meter is active either. I don't think anyone will miss the clock. Chrono is the one I am worried about, but it just seems pointless when it is merely a lap timer. Ditto for me as well - freeze next week, Oct build November delivery - also hoping no ‘no deal brexit’!!

Are folks with November delivery being asked to sign any Brexit surcharge contract?
Mine is apparently late Dec and Brexit surcharge has already been brought up in conversation, apparently if the surcharge does happen a buyer of any new car will be liable if the isn’t car isn’t in the country and registered before the last day in OCT. You watch them delay/ up the port delivery’s when we get close to the end of Oct!

Warming to it massively, I may colour mine up in it, makes a change from the same old same old. Although it may negatively effect the future resale value. Gentian Blue Spyder

Re. “Brexit surcharge”, I’ve not signed anything and been told by OPC that there would be no surcharge for current, confirmed orders ... let’s see
Ditto, and I have a signed order from the OPC confirming the final build price.I asked my OPC the question on tariffs and was told Porsche wanted signed confirmation that the tariff would be paid when Brexit was likely to happen in March and they have not been told it will be any different in October, however they have not had a specific instruction from Porsche yet. I was told they will do what they can but if its an instruction from Porsche then there hands will be tied and if it is a no deal then my OPC feels tariffs will apply. I was told my car will not be through before Brexit so for me its wait and pray for a delay or a deal.
A 10% tariff will take my car over £100k which is a lot and quite close to GT3 money. Either way I am going to have the car unless the 991.2 GT3 in manual suddenly drops below list which will not happen.
