981 Cayman 13' Sport Chrono Manual Rev Matching

Hey guys,

I've just picked up a 981 manual Cayman S which has Sport Chrono. After a ton of reading beforehand I was under the impression that rev matching was only introduced for the 2014 models onwards.

However, after trying out sports plus mode it appears that mine does indeed rev match. Curious to know was this enabled via a software update at some point?

Mines a '13 manual with SC too, rev matching works. I've seen the same comments about it not having it.. but they're bullst. All the review cars when it was released had it..

I think you will find that it is Model Year 2014 cars that have it which will be cars supplied in 2013.

My Mar 2013 car has it.

The earliest cars that journos were driving had it though when the car was released.

Mines got Sport Chrono, PASM & PTV. From my understanding, the rev matching came in in 2013 sometime.
