GT4 RS breaks cover then...
Discussion
I'm looking to fit some Surface Transforms brake discs to my 4RS sometime this year hopefully. I already have a spare set of Pagid RSC 1s to fit with the STs so I only need the discs. I'm wondering on whether or not some STs from the 992GT3 or 991RS will be compatible or am I restricted to the latest GT4 RS Steels to STs conversion.
I'd also like to know what geo settings other 4RS owners are using for fast road/track use. I will probably buy some Porsche Motorsport(991RS) offset front camber plates to get ideally -2.75 front negative camber to avoid using too much lower arm shims.
I already have extended rear toe arm links taken off my GT4 which should fit the 4RS. Can't wait for its first track day on May 6th at the PCGB Oulton day.

I fitted my ST’s Taffy from my 3rs. Same fitment front just a different spacer on the rear. Car is nicer with them on. Improved ride quality and nicer steering feel. That was quick M. I never fitted STs to my 991RS so looking at options which are more cost effective than just fitting the new bespoke 4RS Steel conversion. What kind of front negative camber and toe are you running on yours ? Have you altered the ARBs or left them at M/M ? Does the high downforce settings make a noticeable difference on high speed corners and braking ?
Missed you at the RS day and hope all is well with you.

Most OPCs have their own regular loyal flipper who can be trusted to share the profits with them. Its a great business model for both parties.https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...

I’m not a 4RS owner but I think I know the platform pretty well. Lol. I already have extended rear toe arm links taken off my GT4 which should fit the 4RS. Can't wait for its first track day on May 6th at the PCGB Oulton day.
I’d suggest take an incremental journey and max out camber on OEM parts at sensible ride height, and then just drive it and learn it mate. If you’re find that you’re actually burning tyres outside tread band, then you need more parts like offset top mounts. (Even though IMO, I think the car should have come with them)
Don’t just directly apply what other people are doing, as it might not suit you and your driving style/feel - or else you’ll push the grip limit so far you’ll be going way too fast before you unexpectedly find it. In my humble opinion.

Frustrating when there’s genuine buyers out there, certainly not paying 100k overs
So i think would be interesting to know what’s really happening in the used market with these. I don’t think people are swallowing 100k overs at all. European Prestige have had a black WP car with black Mags up for ages.
This morning… some clearly edited images show a black WP car with silver mags. It looks much much better/ more appealing as it’s a better fit for the more detailed wheel design.
So are reseller now having to get creative to get a bite at these elevated levels?
It’s personally galling to me, but it is what it is.
If this is the actual spec of the car.., and it’s a different car… this is my new favourite spec, just missing PDLS lights.
Even if they have actually changed the wheel colour, you can see part of original yellow PCCB calliper…which is edited black in the pics above. Also factory black callipers have silver Porsche marking

Only £5k p/m if I put down my usual £5k deposit.https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...
TX.
I finally got to drive mine yesterday after picking it up from PPF. I am delighted with the job done by Jules Sturgess Automotive near Cambridge. He also changed my black "GT4 RS" decals for silver to match my wheels.
This was the first time I have been in a 4RS and I can't believe the induction noise. I had heard people talking about it but until you have heard it for yourself it is difficult to comprehend.
I am really looking forward to getting the car run in and then used as intended. My letter of intent was sent to Porsche Hatfield on 4th March 2016. I am really grateful to the team at Hatfield for allocating this car to me. I am not a flipper (I only just sold my 2003 996 GT3 RS which I owned since new!) and I have never purchased Porsche cars that I didn't want.

I had a LOI in since early 2016 at my dealer too, but have gone from top of list prior announcement, to second, to no longer second, to nowhere. My chap is now too embarrassed to give me updates, which I completely understand as it’s not his shout. I suppose i should post my car life on instagram and share it with a load of randoms.
I’m well past caring to be honest, just think it’s a really screwed up way of treating very long standing loyal customers. To be frank if they called with an allocation offer next week i think on principal i would pass, as i have totally lost interest in the brand and how it views its customer base.

Gentian is such a beautiful deep Blue especially on the 4RS. Great choice on the Silver wheels to contrast with the deep Gentian. This was the first time I have been in a 4RS and I can't believe the induction noise. I feel for you Seawise. I had given up hope on my situation of ever getting a 4RS allocation. So much so that in Dec 2021 I didn't think I would get a 4RS allocation and my wife was looking to change her Macan. She bought a Jaguar F Pace SVR instead of a Porsche Macan GTS because I hadn't had the 4RS allocation. And then, unexpectedly, it all fell into place for me just before Christmas 2022. I was lucky that there had been a recent change of Dealer Principal at Hatfield and the new DP seems to be more "straight forward" in looking after his customer base rather than his mates. I have also had a long relationship with the salesman that looks after me and he put me forward for the allocation. I really hope your interest does turn in to an allocation. There appear to be more 4RS coming than were originally envisaged. Don't turn it down on principle. The car is still one of the greats. Good luck.
