Genuinely Porsche don't care two hoots if their good customers flip a GT Porsche for a quick profit..This is different to Ferrari who exclude anyone who flips one of their specials from getting another halo Ferrari..
I think the OPC’s care if it doesn’t come back to them...but agree I don’t think GB really care. If they did they could have stopped it long ago.

This is very disappointing to see, such a shame it never went to an enthusiast.

Imo the likes of Jzm only exist due to the overs market and SOR sales. Once they slows down they will struggle.
JZM run a fantastic business. There’s far more to their business than just the overs market and SOR sales.

Porsche really doesn't give a stuff as they have a list of people who want the new GT4, they will full fill the order book this time around as it made a bad business mistake last time around and lets not forget they are a business, this time around I would be 99.9% sure I would get one if I placed a order, it might not be one of the first ones but at least they would be giving me the option to buy a new one at list which was not the case with the 981GT4, as for the overs market bring it on, the higher the mark up the better as this can only be good news for owners who bought at list and old GT4s, but would be very surprised if they reach the mark up level they did with the 981, the way I see it there is only 2 winners, the owner who wants to keep and enjoy and Porsche on the resale value as most will go back to them

That’s got to be the first car from whichever OPC that came from, so went to one of their “best” customers.

Rubbish spec though, so there might be a story.......or a reason...........

Or someone just specced it boggo to make a quick 10k.

Seems a bit silly really
Specced to make money....as you say the “owner” probably knew they were getting the first/and early car. Calculated gamble on someone paying a decent premium for it being one of the first available regardless of spec....so the most profitable flip.

Another black one being flipped already. Have a feeling it’s the one I was offered many months ago and they’re still trying to get £120k for it

Spec comes in at £97K, with the OTR just shy of £100K, places this at £20K over list ..... gits!!

Nice spec that, cool car. £20k over list is mental though, I can't see it selling at that. Too close to the 991.2 GT3.

It's only a matter of time before we (PH) work out what PC and which customer it was .....
12.4 miles on the clock .... want to take a punt on where this came from

15k That puts it @90K minimum + spec.

It doesn't have extended leather or stitching. Not a Clubsport and no PCCB.
Can't tell on the seats - purposefully not shown in the pics released so far.

But @ 90K for 'poverty spec' that's a gap back to a 981.

I'm sure AV185 will be along shortly to give us the market update. lol.

As opposed to TDT spouting drivel about spec and prices which he claims bores him rigid lol.

Initial predictions last year were between £115k and £120k though for the first good spec flippers.

Always problematic comparing new with older car prices on different models apples and pears.

Thing is AV185 - I post about driving my car, trackdays and experiences significantly more than about spec and values... which is ALL you post about.
Pick a fight with a different person.

True, but are people really going to pay 991.2 GT3 money for a 718 GT4? If so, that's just bonkers.

Presumably in your incorrect assertion you are excluding all the posts I make about my driving experiences and car comparisons.

Thought so.

As previously mentioned it IS possible to post about several different aspects involving the cars, from experience, including values etc.

And this is a values thread btw.

No T, but there will always be those who will be prepared to pay hefty premiums for the latest shiny new bauble as previous initial prices of flipped GT Porsches have shown time and time again.

I've heard that as with the 991.2 GT3, numbers of GT4 being imported are going to be a lot higher than previously, so as with 991.2 GT3 silly premiums will be short lived and should settle close to list or under within 12-18 months. If you're not in a hurry then hang-fire for the minute. That's my opinion anyway... Feel free to abuse me smile

That's nothing new..There's a Black Weissach pack RS being flipped on Autotrader with just 99 miles on the odo. Asking £240K and was a subject recently on another thread..The dealer who supplied the car only had three RSs in the second batch, two went to enthusiasts and this Black one went to a flipper..
I spoke to someone at a Ferrari dealer last week and he said that Ferrari don't understand why GT Porsches are kept being given to serial flippers..You only get one chance of that at Ferrari and then you're left out in the cold.

Yes but was he a serial flipper Taffy or was he someone who decided to flip just this one car. Thing is you are only a good customer until you get the temptation to flip and you become a bad customer and even then you probably wouldn't be excluded from buying new Porsches GTs from other OPCs.

Further evidence of course that Porsche AG have no interest whatsoever in stopping flipping and if anything actually actively encourage it as a sort of premium branding exercise.

They might be the clever ones as they have not had to buy 3 cars which have lost £20k each.

So you can see how it happens. It’s cheaper to buy a car at overs if you are not a vip client !

JZM 718 GT4 went live @ £92,900

Looks like we estimated that car about right.
