if I go 4.0 GTS then I will go with a Cargraphic clubsport system.

https://youtu.be/cn05_BPeV3E

1/2 the price, legal and a valved system so 2 sounds in one.
JCR is nice but a bit ££££

They also have high flow GPF's, which I'd be interested to hear.

The JCR in those videos screams because it doesn't have a GPF smile

No they’re SS. The video I saw of one I thought the sound was unimpressive for £3600. They’re also all over the internet posting as third parties like the post above so I’d take some of it with a pinch of salt. Also from what I’ve seen they haven’t released any power uplift figures either like JCR have.

They're also very expensive.

By the way, I'd take the JCR power hikes with a large pinch of salt. Lot's of variables can be tweaked on the dyno, so unless you know what the settings were, and if they're realistic settings to use, then it's all just random numbers.

All dyno are hogwash, but what jcr do is a before and after so the number don’t matter the difference between the 2 runs does.
And the gains are massive, but one would expect that from a decatted, de OPP and a full straight though system.

I would still go cargraphic, for these cars.
Well known long standing brand.

As you both say dynos in terms of absolute can be made to tell any story. It is the difference before and after that matters.

What I will say is that products to buy into are the ones that do publish data, their process, and have a track record.
JCR recently made a open challenge to the market for other companies to publish performance data (100-200kph) to compare against their own offering..... at the last time of checking.... the challenge remains open and unanswered.
They did put their money where their mouth is, buy their own car and do the development work on it.
BGB & Cargraphic, Fabspeed and Dundon also have their own development cars and publish dyno numbers for their systems.

Any other entrant should really do the same or somehow figure out how to prove themselves, as there is a lot of choice now.

BGB use Cargraphic surely.

Yep, which is why I put them together (BGB & Cargraphic). They have longstanding relationship and feedback loop between them.

This seems and sounds like the best sounding exhaust out there, in terms of just changing the rear box.

A well put together video too, which clearly outlines the difference in sound in comparison to the stock exhaust.

£1950 seems like a reasonable price too.

Does sound nice.
Why do most manufacturers not publish dB readings?

Overall, all the exhausts that I've seen are just too expensive.
Any exhaust for ~ 2k ?

This one seems reasonable:

https://www.supersprint.com/ww-en/sport-exhaust-su...

They do supply many German tuners.

Who's to say the dyno settings aren't changed between runs though?

I don't trust anyone not to fiddle with them to make things look better than they actually are.
