Well who doesn’t love oak green! I love that colour since my mk2 golf GTI days

I felt a 2 seater sports car should be a bright / fun colour. Purple I think royal purple or ultra violet would look amazing! Both flat colours. Or viola if you want metallic

So after 13 months of waiting. I’ve had my allocation confirmed for a October delivery.

Luckily though I can have PTS.

So now to chose the colour
I'm going to embarrass myself, what's PTS?

Sorry if that's a dumb question?

very nice. With PTS and you option the hoop bars to be painted I assume they'd be in PTS.....i'd do that if I were you.
White dials and chrono dial i would find distracting.

It wouldn’t let me option body coloured roll over hoops otherwise I would probably go for them. I have had white tiles in other Porsche‘s I’ve owned and found them okay

I am sure pts hoops will be something your dealer can work out for you when it comes to the face to face part of the purchase.

I’ve just been told today by my OPC that my BGTS ordered in late July 21 probably won’t arrive this year.

On the flip side I’m doing the Porsche Experience tomorrow, so I plan to thrash the buttocks off the GTS I’ll be driving.

That’s lovely. What colour is that? Signal yellow

Bahama Yellow I believe. Signal yellow is a little more orange to it.

I could be wrong.

that's right. Bahama yellow. A lot less saturated than Signal Yellow

Yesterday I had a call from my Porsche dealer telling me they have a slot for me as they've had a few through from Porsche!

I ordered in August 2021, expected delivery is mid September 2022. Not too bad. Unfortunately the car will be a 2023 model year so the price is up by about £2500.

Apparently I need to lock the spec in the next 2 weeks to maintain the build date.

Below is my code. Any thoughts on the spec? Anything obvious missing? The plan would be to keep the car for the long term (15 years +) so trying to future proof it somewhat - not from a value perspective, but don't want a colour or options which will prematurely age.

Looks good. The only option I wished I'd specced on mine is the leather steering wheel column cover, as one really is looking at it all the time.

Maybe have the rear model badge painted body colour, given that you're going black PORSCHE at the rear, as it'll give you a cleaner look. Ditto re the crest on centre console. The cabin's quite busy with the GTS package, so not sure it needs anything else, but obviously it all comes down to individual taste.

Thanks. The leather steering wheel cover at £200ish is a good shout. Will probably go for that rather than the Porsche emblem on the storage compartment

Think I'll add that to mine. Good shout.
