I'd go the smokers package as it loses that "hole" between the seats.

I admire your ability to keep the options cost down.

The one thing I would add is auto dimming mirrors

Thanks chaps; I’ll have a look at those two. It, like others on here, will be a keeper for a good few years hopefully, for weekends, whizzing around Europe, Scotland etc.. last of N/A large capacity engine..

Off to the configurator now..

Mines, (version 8?)

Going through it again tonight but will visit the OPC at the weekend to look at the paint samples.

Can people name the dealer they have placed orders with. Trying to work out lead times/allocations form individual dealers.

I’m looking to order in July, but don’t want the car until 2024 (for a variety of reasons - primarily saving the pennies).

Thanks in advance
East London for me. Mentioned previously they said i was #3 on the Boxster GTS list when i ordered in mid-April, and couldn’t guarantee me a car in next 18 months, if at all.

For me, Climate is essential. Perhaps it is standard on new model year cars? If not AC is not good.

I'd agree that climate control is pretty much essential, the controls are awkward to reach if you need to adjust.

I notice both configurator codes above have opted for the - 10mm suspension drop as opposed to the standard - 20mm. I chose to stick with the standard - 20mm drop. No issues at all over speed bumps etc and the car just sits that little bit nicer on its wheels. The ride is still very good around town, perhaps feels about 15% firmer/tighter than our previous car with - 10mm.

Think it was Agate Grey previously (a compromise which I didn't fancy in the end). Either way I test drove one with the GTS interior and quite liked it.

Hoping to ask a few questions at the weekend about interior options.

Hi All, I'm semi keen on the idea of a 718 GTS to replace my Exige V6/Audi S5 combo. Does anyone mind sharing what kind of GFV they are getting offered from an OPC or other finance broker?

Thanks

Long time bud! Fantastic choice of cars by the way.

I'm looking at moving out of my Cayman into a Exige V6 (prices went crazy when we last spoke but are starting to come down now) but i have been eyeing up 718 GTS 4.0s and 991.1 GTS's too. Have you considered them or are they too big in dimension? weight is very similar to the Cayman GTS but its a fair bit quicker for similar money.

Ha, wasn't quite expecting that biggrin
The Exige and S5 combo has been brilliant, but I have a property opportunity, so would looking to jump in to 1 car, and free up some £ by using a PCP.

Just very curious what the residuals look like.

The 718 GTS appeals massively, in every way.
I think I'd rather a 991.2 GTS instead of 991.1.

Finalised my spec today. Pretty content with it! Due to finish build on 10 September and hope to see it a couple of weeks later. Getting excited now!

I used to have the storage configured on mine (as it was free), but how much really will you use it?

My GTS is uncannily similar to this.

Same colour, Same wheels, Same lights, deleted model designation, same seats.

Believe me - the leather column is money well spent when extended leather is optioned.
