Hi,

For anyone who has picked up one of the above cars, can you confirm what booklets / documentation / pouches you received on collection?

I picked up my car 2 weeks ago, and left all of this behind. I won't make it back to them for at least 3 weeks.

I've always received a number of leather pouches with the Manuals, Service Book, etc. Can anyone confirm what came with their car, thank you.

Took delivery of my Spyder in October but only got the books / pouch 2 weeks ago. Got the usual service book and user manual.

Thanks, what was the reason for the delay. I'm questioning whether I left them behind I wasn't given them.

Simply weren’t available at time of collecting the car. I think mine was one of the first batch of cars into the UK. Your not missing much, few interesting points like running in period and fact they apparently have launch control (which I wasn’t aware of...and will never use) but apart from that, just the usual information.

Launch control cant be that easy on a manual? Think you still have to feather the clutch?

Have tried launch control on various PDK loan cars I’ve been given over the years and it’s just a gimmic IMO. Have more mechanical sympathy with my own car and prefer country road driving than traffic light GPs. According to the manual, you just nail the throttle and then once at max launch revs, just let go of the clutch and hope your gearbox doesn’t explode (it doesn’t actually specify the last part) ;-)
