I agree that yellow one at £63K looks real good value for a nice road spec car and good to see these are are holding their value well compared to some cars
As predicted the yellow car didn't hang around at that price. Had a chum interested but sold straight away. Based on prices and sales a 981 GT4 isn't going to be £50k anytime soon.Note: Perhaps a Mod could revise the thread title to include 981 so as to deconflict with 718 discussions?
Looking at a GT4 (amongst other possible cars). Looking for black with carbon seats. The ones advertised are sold; are people holding on to them now summer is arriving?
The ones without carbon seats seem to be sticking around; presumably they are a “must have” for resale? Any other must have options?

A mate has just traded a club sport for £66500 with 17000 miles so expect to see that at a dealer for £72995
That's very strong money!boxsey said:

That's very strong money! On the buying side:
Private or Non-OPC prices will be lower and probably the majority of 981 GT4 for sale are in this space now.
So its as it ever was... you pay more for the convienence of an OPC car fully warranty backed - no questions asked.

No chance I'd sell my £60k+ car privately - but each to their own...
I would sell mine privately if I could when the time comes to it. It has an opc warranty that would be transferable. I would hope that would help. Not sure if/ when I would sell though and I don’t know what I would like to try next.Twinfan said:

Why not?I bought my GT4 last Nov privately. Very easy deal,
Viewed car and it was just what I wanted,
Agreed price
Seller took car to OPC for fresh MOT and 111 check ( which we agreed to go 50/50 on) total cost was £150 for both
I issue , brake duct pice was replaced and paid for by seller
Car, keys, paperwork left at OPC
I transferred money
Collected car next day form OPC and seller met me there
Bought a 2 year warranty form OPC once existing warranty ran out 2 months after purchase
Enjoying it and seller took delivery of his 718 Spyder
Both happy
