Apologies if this is the wrong forum... I'm looking for advice on OPC service pricing for a 2014 Porsche 981, that is due its 6th year intermediate maintenance. Appreciate that maintenance is every two years, but the pricing supplied below appears to be on the high side:

Minor Maintenance - Every 60K - £673.56
90012310630 SEALING RING
10000000002 TOPUP/BAG
99157237100 AIR FILTER AIR SUCTION
00004400204 WINDOW CLEANER OUTER
00004330521 ENGINE OIL
9P1819631 Odour and allergen filter
0PB115466A Oil filter insert
0PB115499A seal ring

Replace Brake Fluid PDK Transmission CG2.05 Fixed Price (Composite Work) Wheels Fitted - £159.63
00004321082 1 Litre Brake fluid

Replace Drive Belt / Air Filter Cartridges (Composite Work) Includes Rear Wall Flap Remove And Install - £343.60
98111013000 AIR-FILTER INSERT
0PB903137A V-belt

Nett Price (Ex. VAT) £980.67
VAT £196.12
Total £1,176.79

Appreciate that an indy could offer a better price, but does this seem reasonable for an OPC?

Any help would be appreciated.

they are rob dogs, and as they do the brake fluid with wheels on, they don't bleed the inners.

OPC are a joke now days. GUtting to have my car out the OPC network this time as a set of OPC stamps looks great but they do 1/2 a job for 3x the price.

WORRALL.

Thought I'd pop this on a new thread as I'd noticed a few comments around service costs hidden away on the now colossal GTS thread!

I have a late 2014 981 Cayman GTS with c.55k miles (highest mileage GTS possibly?! Gotta enjoy it!).

It's been serviced twice already by the previous owner based on mileage, including 2 brake fluid changes. What comes up next is the following:-

- Spark Plugs due at 4 years (note, there is no warning for this one from the car computer and I went overdue 2 months without having a clue!)

- Minor service due on timing (2 years or 20k miles since last service)

- Brake Fluid due on timing (2 years or 20k miles since last service)

- Replace Drive Belt/ Air Filter due on mileage (6 years or 60k miles since last service)

Having spoken to several OPCs the costs can vary significantly and even the 'fixed price' service menus are different and not standard across the network (also these are sometimes very difficult to find and hidden away on websites).

Here's a summary of the various prices I've been quoted:-

Incidentally the cost of simply buying 6 spark plugs is £114.26 - as one of the OPCs accidentally quoted me without fitting smile

Anyway, hope that helps someone, somehow!

Cheers

reputable Indy stamps have never put me off buying a Porsche, it's just not worth the money really.

Mine's a 2014 Cayman 2.7 PDK.

I was quoted various figures for the 6 year service, two different ones from OPC Leicester when they raised the plugs had been done at year 4...

In the end I booked in with RPM...

Same detail as the OPC's 2nd attempt, above...

But... the weekend before it was due to go the original battery gave up on me so it went locally to GCR in Leicester who were within a few pounds of RPM, plus a Bosch battery.

I'm out of the OPC's clutches now. Indys for me from now on.

I don't know why people are complaining. £500 a year doesn't seem at all unreasonable to me on a £50k car.

Agreed. On a car a few years old, I'd pay the extra £400 and go OPC.

Support them and they may support you if you want to order a new car that's in high demand and low supply, for example.
