You won’t be disappointed as that sounds like a great spec!

I didn’t go for the Homelink or coloured dials either for the same reasons.

Saw the comments about the stitching and the reflection on the windscreen but think it would be increased with a lighter coloured stitching such as silver or yellow. Haven’t noticed it with the Speed Blue.

Out of interest I asked Exclusive Manufaktur whether it was possible to have speed blue door pull loops as those are an option on the GT4 RS for £109 and they said it would cost around £1,200.

Also asked whether they could do the steering wheel rim marker in speed blue instead of yellow and that was around £2,000.

Did you go for aluminium pedals? Decided not to go for them for two reasons; 1) how the surface would grip if a little wet and 2) the quality is questionable from what I have read.
I think you might be my twin haha.

I also enquired about the blue door pulls and was told they could only do black for £1k. I didn’t ask about the blue steering wheel marker, but did consider it.

I didn’t go for the aluminium peddles either for the same reason - others have said that they can be slippery so didn’t see the point.

I’ve already got the blue door pull material ready to fit (got the idea from the video that was posted above):

Haha!

Had the black door pull loops been an option at a reasonable cost I would have chose them over the silver.

Where did you purchase the polypropylene material, Amazon? Looks a very close match to the shark blue seat belts.

There’s links in the YouTube video description for everything you need. The colour is match for the speed blue stitching - here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KTVFR7A?ie=UT...

Hey guys,

After 6 months of waiting I took delivery of my GT4 in Shark Blue on Saturday!

The advice shared on this forum has been great and really helped me in deciding my final spec.

Still buzzing from collection day and looking forward to the upcoming Porsche drive days!

Congratulations from a shark blue pdk gt4 owner to!

Thanks mate! How long have you had it for and have you broken the 1,500 miles running in yet?

I’ve had it since March, sadly I’ve only managed to do less than 300 miles. Which wasn’t my plan!

Still a long way to go then! Hopefully we have a good summer and there will be plenty of nice driving days.

Weekly update today (5th May) from my dealer, which finally included some date update information... my CP8 date this morning has apparently moved from 11th March (yes you read that correctly!) to 23rd May.

What that means bearing in mind the car has been AWOL for nigh on 2 months with nobody knowing when/if/how anything will happen, who knows, I guess time will tell. read

Good luck with those dates, believe it when you see it though. Considering they are still waiting to build cars with Jan spec locks, and there's the summer factory shutdown on the horizon, those dates seem very optimistic indeed.

But that might just be my pessimism due to my own situation of being in the aforementioned category of having a Jan spec locked car which hasn't even entered build yet.

As an aside, I see PTS selection on the configurator now allows you to pick & show the colours on the car.

I also received the call from my OPC this week and was told a CP8 isn’t showing on the system yet although they expect it to be some time in September.

Hopefully, this shows a good sign that the Jan spec lock orders will start leaving the factory soon.

Thanks for pointing out that PTS colours can now be shown on the configurator… it’s good to see how they look on the car and definitely makes it more enticing than just going with my original colour choice of Crayon.

On that note, what’s the actual score on PTS? I’ve heard a few say it’s a special allocation to get a PTS slot so I assume I can’t just tell my OPC I want to spec it?

I think it has to be a special allocation as I tried to choose a PTS colour and was told it wasn’t possible with my allocation.
