Clearly not my old car :-)
Looks awesome although I'm now out the other side of owning hardcore GT cars . Too old !
The cars or the driver?! To be honest, as much as I absolutely loved tinkering with the old thing, my reason for moving into a modern GT4 is the ability to run a warranty and not spend the winter months in the garage pulling things to pieces.Looks awesome although I'm now out the other side of owning hardcore GT cars . Yes I know, this winter I’ll miss it

Definitely the driver ! Yes I know, this winter I ll miss it

Loved my time with them but have now opted for a PDK GTS boxster .
Far easier for everyday life and no longer do track days.

Time to book the first 2 year minor service for my MY23 GT4. Time flies quickly, anyone had a recent service and can let me know the cost. Much appreciated in advance
My 718 Spyder's was £1,188 at West London. Suspect you may find it a bit cheaper at other dealers especially if you shop aroundAMV93 said:
I do wonder what they do as part of the 1st year service, I had an oil change only done on mine at my local OPC on its 1st birthday (2 year intervals feel wrong) and it was £450...
I discovered after my Spyder's 4 year service (so second, bigger one) that they don't even change the air filters. Car had only done just over 4k, and they didn't charge me for them - but I still thought they would have been changedPaul_D said:
£950-£1200
Had my 4.0 GTS done last month. £1080 then take off 10% for PCGB membership. The 10% came off the whole bill, not just parts, but worth asking when booking as some places seemed to be making it up as they went along.Given that it costs £75/year it is worth joining PCGB just for the discount on the service.
Prices varied from £1270 to the above £1080 at the OPC's I contacted.
Coming up to 2yrs since I got mine so thought I'd have a look at what prices are doing - they've definitely stabilised, a 2020 car with the same spec and mileage as when I bought it seem to be up for £1-2k more than what I paid for it in 2023.
Also the Motorway price today for this Red one that sold in Jan 2024 is around £2-3k higher now at £64k than it was back in Jan 2024, I know because I checked it back then.
Prices have definitely firmed up or even risen recently compared to 2023.

You bought an absolute cracker there for not a lot of money .
Manual too IIRC and something like 10k miles ?
I see 981 GT4's selling for early to mid 50's now so that still puts your car at what you paid cheap.
I'm glad you love it .

Nah I didn't buy that one! Was a great buy whoever got it. Just remembered the car and the WBAC price so thought it made for an easy comparison.
Ah Apols thought this was yours .Been wondering if it's worth at some stage moving from my 981 BGTS PDK into a 718 4.0 GTS.
Have done the GT cars a good few times over and not sure I need the faff of the Spyder roof plus, the 718 GTS cars get rave reviews by the likes of Metcalf and Sutcliffe
