I was watching this, I would of had a bid if it struggled but 44k+ for a car described like that which no one could view before hand was too risky for me. Excellent spec car apart from the colour!
Be interesting to see how its described when it turns up on a dealers forecourt!
Little heads up - Be interesting to see how its described when it turns up on a dealers forecourt!
Lawton Brook cars about to list a lovely example in Guards 42k miles buckets and PDK for 47k
Sounds interesting with buckets, im aware of one red one with buckets that had been mapped and messed with in the past though!
Not on their website yet so might be worth a call

Think they are being greedy now, they listed it this morning at 46999 now its been increased to 48.5k.
They have probably seen the autotrader search stats cause of this and increased the price.
Can't say if it is the same car as I described earlier but then increasing the price by 1.5k in a matter of hours is enough to put me off!

If you're dubious about the car write it off.
Saw this CGTS come on earlier but guessing you want a boxster ?

No sold inventory section so no way of knowing if with a new owner .
Not on AT either
Not sure if appropriate to ask here but will try anyway is anyone here the previous owner of this car that was recently advertised at Ashgood?

Just looking for some background, nothing weird. Would appreciate an email even if you don t want to post publicly.
Thanks!

My son bought this a short while ago from RPM to replace his 987 2.7.
It s a magnificent thing, and has the sports chassis and manual box.
I can see why they re popular.

I think that is a friend's old Cayman GTS - I don't think it even made it on to the RPM website officially before it got sold. My friend had an itch for a GT4 which saw RPM sell the GTS for him. I think he got it serviced by Porsche Leicester on the way to RPM to keep up the OPC history!
Good to hear. My son saw a carmine red car in a background shot on the ramps in the RPM and rang them to see if they would sell it.
The car he has is a sports-chassis manual, which is exactly what he wanted.

Jimmy - you may want to look this guy up on Facebook Porsche UK Forum . They have probably seen the autotrader search stats cause of this and increased the price.

Selling exactly what you're looking for I think .
Amazing example fully loaded in carmine 25k miles with OPC warranty till 27.

I think I own your friend’s old Cayman GTS, which isn’t the one above. I remember RPM telling me the previous owner was after a GT4. Tell him thank you from me for getting that service done at Porsche Leicester. Spevs said:
No Bose or Auto Climate. Looks nice but his pictures are too small both on Facebook & AT.
Thanks, Hadn't noticed the lack of Bose or auto climate . Not even sure if i have auto climate on my car but then I only ever drive it with the roof down anyway.
As for Bose, I have that but that's but the standard PCM unit is so outdated now the only sound i listen to is that wonderful exhaust note .
Turns out the one mentioned above is guards & not carmine.

I had Bose on my last one...it's astonishing this is meant to be a stereo upgrade, bloody awful! I have sound package plus in my current Gt4 and its still rubbish but better then Bose IMO. Aftermarket is probably the only way to go if you actually want something that sounds ok.
I think it's kind of pointless to spend a lot of money on this stuff unless you have something like a Lexus. The Boxster is a pretty noisy car; no hi-fi's going to work with the road noise alone as a starting point.Esquire said:
