Stuck on trying to choose the right colour combination without blowing the budget.
Carmine Red (and even Guards Red) are my fav but I don't think I'd want such a stand out colour on a long term basis, not sure.
My current 987 is Silver, ideally would want a different colour
I do like the standard 20 inch Spot wheels.
Don't have a garage so looking mainly for colour that stays clean most.

In other words, looks like best candidates are Aventurine Green and Jet Black so far - any thoughts?
Do you think the below would look great in real life?
Any recommendations from owners?

Aventurine green looks great in the flesh. Light dependant as well, looks grey sometimes.

Out of these 3 I would take the bottom one. Not feeling the silver roll over hoops.

Nice! Colour and wheel combo looks Superb..

( Not sure if it's the photo or angle of the car making it look a bit tail high ? )

Great car! And those are satin platinum wheels, right? not silver. I wonder what silver would look like instead.
Does it look clean for long?

I have a 991 GTS which I bought in Lava Orange then after a couple of years had sprayed Graphite Blue Metallic and then a year on (last month) had it sprayed Averuntine Green. It looks great. Grey in some lights and hardly green at all, then green in sunshine and barely grey. It's a discreet colour but still interesting.

What's a typical cost to spray in those colours it if you don't mind the question.

Not mine, might I add. But I am a fan of the colour and it's what I mostly spec whilst playing with the configurator. Yes, I think those are satin platinum wheels. If i was in the market for a GTS4.0, this would be the colour for sure. Any day over jet black.

If you want a colour that stays clean the most, black is amongst the worst choice you could make! The green by a mile.

100% this. I’ve had enough black cars, including my recent 981 Boxster, to realise that black is a pain to keep looking clean. But when clean, it’s lovely, or wear the muck with a badge of honour; these cars are for driving driving

I wouldn’t normally go fo an all-black (body, roof, wheels, interior) car again, but what about black (if you like a bucket and sponge) plus a contrast roof like red.

Also, don’t forget interior colour choice. All black is too obvious. If you go for that green, which is nice and different, it would go great with a half sand/black interior...

Finally, I suggest lighter silver wheels contrast better with these darker colours.

Regardless, enjoy the process!

I like both the top 2, however as already stated black gets dirty the quickest.

I have actually always found red looks the cleanest the longest!!

Green with body colour or silver rollover hoops. Not gold wheels though.

Nearly 6k at Iain Litchfields' place at Tewkesbury.
