Yes and my original post was showing the 718 is reaching parity on price with 981 version and that over time the 981 will be more sort after.Others have agendas talking up 718 prices as usual!
Looks like I'll be finding out just how much of an icon the 981 GT4 is currently, as my one will be going on the market in the next couple of weeks. Properly cared for over the last 6 years, in a nice non-PCCB spec, but with CS (cage, 918 seats, harnesses) and just over 20k on the clock. Full Porsche history, and Porsche extended warranty until end of Feb 2027.
A friend has expressed an interest, but I'm not sure how fast he will be able to move on it. More concretely, I have the choice of putting it in with an OPC that I have dealt with for many years now (in fact, bought the car from them in 2018), or with an equally friendly local indie that I get on well with. Indie will cost me about £2k less in commission, but of course the OPC will likely reach a wider audience, and probably command a slightly higher sale price.
I'd appreciate thoughts on which of those anyone here might go for. Both dealers have given very similar opinions on pricing to sell. It's either slightly disappointing for me, or a hell of a car for the money for whoever ends up with it. Hopefully more of the latter in the greater scheme of things.
Future icon or not, they are just brilliant cars. Unfortunately I can't really justify 2 summer/track cars and not having anything suitable for all-year daily use. God only knows I've tried; it has delivered more smiles per mile than any other 4-wheeler I've ever owned.

I would imagine it’s only suitable for a serious collector with such low miles.
I’m sure some wealthy collector will snap that up quickly.

That’s even a nice purchase even if going to be driven, change of oil, flush out petrol tank and new tyres would be needed though then it’s a new car ready to goI would imagine it’s only suitable for a serious collector with such low miles.
