I also like it ... Porsche would have charged a fortune for those ... very classic
Thank you. It was my homage to my first ever Porsche GT car, a black 924CarreraGT. I loved the script on the front OS wing. So it meant a lot to me and bugger all to everybody else

If you pull that off for 50k it’s a bargain!! Relatively speaking
I’m still on the hunt for one, I’m not overly fussed if it’s a Clubsport, I want buckets, preferably cruise and a decent infotainment set up as I plan using it as much as possible in the nicer weather and we have a euro trip planned for August
check on my current ad on here.. buckets, cruise, Bose and apple CarPlay module...I’m still on the hunt for one, I’m not overly fussed if it’s a Clubsport, I want buckets, preferably cruise and a decent infotainment set up as I plan using it as much as possible in the nicer weather and we have a euro trip planned for August

One of the cheapest, if not the cheapest, is on eBay of all places.
Immaculate with PCCB's

Looks like YouTuber Stef ABtv might have just bought this. He’s done a video about it. Same spec and he mentions harnesses. Perhaps with re-painted wheels and cage!?Immaculate with PCCB's

No ceramics but now that the blue one sold, this has cropped up as the cheapest CS one. Seems well cared for and well presented.

They do look nice in white but needed a new gearbox at 35k miles?
Something for the PTS fanciers…

Late recall job possibly? The GT4 market is very interesting from an £85k super whiz bang PDK paint to sample bit of loveliness down to a £55k 981 bottom of the market club sport.
The two cars are so similar but feel very different, I much preferred the engine in the 718 but the 981 had a certain “raw” (some would argue old fashioned!) feel to the chassis that reminded me of my 996 GT3.

This is why I think it will have enduring appeal over the 718 and ultimately be more sort after! Modern P cars are so sanitised, the last P car I drove was a 992.1 GTS and it left me cold More likely to be the wearing of the pinion.
Over time and with heat/usage the coating the gearbox casing breakdown comes loose in the gearbox causing wear on the pinion.
Some cars that are heavily tracked see this early - others with less heavy usage might see it later... c35k miles and 10years old is plausible

Porsche do not repair gearboxes... they just replace the whole unit.
Occasion visual inspection is recommended for manual cars and frequent transmission oil changes (depends on usage but minimum annually if car is used on track or with your engine oil change) to ensure that any loose material is flushed with a fluid change.

Any idea the correct OEM gearbox oil part number for a manual 981 gt4 is? Over time and with heat/usage the coating the gearbox casing breakdown comes loose in the gearbox causing wear on the pinion.

I’ve getting conflicting numbers, ps any other recommendations other than oem as well?
from Rennlist two days ago in GT4/Spyder forum:
After much research and many calls to Porsche Dealerships across the county, I was informed that the proper Gearbox oil for the 981 GT4 (2016) is currently 000 043 305 00.
The original was 000 043 204 19 -> followed by 000 043 305 48 -> followed by 000 043 305 00. I called 5 Porsche dealerships and they indicated that 000 043 305 00 supersedes 000 043 305 48 and confirmed the part number by VIN.
It comes in 20 liter containers but the dealership will sell it in 1 liter increments; just bring in your own containers.
I confirmed this part number with a number of Porsche dealerships across the county. Hopefully if you are getting ready to change the fluid in your GT4 this information will help.
It was very confusing to see so many differs posts online with different Porsche part numbers.
I know that there are a number of other vendors who sell gear oil and they have great reputations and their stuff is probably fine but I truly wanted to use Porsche stuff.
Just thought I would share this information. Thanks
RPM would change my gear oil annually and use Mobil LS 75/90 Delvac per their invoice.

Just driven 300+ miles in mine today from Aberdeen to Teesside, via Braemar/Glenshee. What a road, and what a car. Any more power would be a total waste, and on most U.K. roads in all honesty.
4 years into ownership, and can’t think of anything to replace it without going into stupid money, fantastic thing.
If you’re thinking of buying one, do it.
