This was sold recently through one of the specialist auction places. I believe that it was Iconic Auctioneers. Surprised that it is back on the market so quickly.
Iconic had it at race retro in February but it did not sellhttps://www.iconicauctioneers.com/2016-porsche-cay...

Very honest ad concerning Porsche not being willing to warrant the car presumably due to the service history.
Rarely specced leather wheel (and gearlever) same as my new 981 GT4 reg late 2015 DC65 BZJ.
Yes, it does seem that the ad is aiming to be as honest as possible and obviously in sad circumstances. Maybe there is a little confusion with the colour. The ad discusses it being PTS, but also that the colour has now been discontinued. It’ll no doubt be a lovely car for someone. Hi,
I am the seller of the Mexico blue GT4 which belonged to my late father (plate ending KJJ). In the interests of transparency, please see below what I emailed misterkevlar:
"I can confirm the car is definitely Mexico Blue - as confirmed by RPM Technik.
Porsche refused warranty because they insisted that I had to be the registered keeper for a minimum of 3 months (some arbitrary condition imposed by their warranty underwriter apparently). That was the only issue - nothing to do with the gaps in service/MOT.
At the time I didn't realise that RPM Technik would have the car for over a month (they wheel refurb company they used were extremely backed up apparently...), and Porsche's inability/unwillingness to give me a sound explanation as to why they would refuse warranty based on my not being the registered keeper for 3 months was reason enough for me to look elsewhere - just on principle.
RPM Technik wanted to sell the car on my behalf (feel free to speak to Joe Allard for confirmation) - they can vouch for the car as they done extensive work on it, but I feel their commission is just too high.
If the car doesn't sell in the next couple of months or so, then I will try my luck with Carwow. I just sold dad's Toyota GR Yaris FOUR for a very, very respectable price - having not been able to shift it on PH.
With respect, I stand by everything I've written in the ad (including the price) and challenge anyone to find a nicer example. People need to look past the gaps in the history - they need to see it in the flesh, and take a passenger ride with me to see it's tight as a drum and worth every penny of the asking.
All things considered, I believe the price is fair and there's very little wiggle room in there. The colour alone makes it much more desirable than other 981 GT4s, and indeed, 718 GT4s!
£50K is frankly an insult lol!" *

- To confirm, misterkevlar did not offer for me £50k! He simply wondered if that was the kind of figure that I'd been offered by dealers)

Seems to be to be a great advert for what is a lovely car, so all the best with the sale and very sorry to hear about your father's passing . With these now approaching 10 yrs has anyone replaced control arms etc with anything other than OE from Porsche?
I'll be looking to replace worn parts over the coming year (no knocking at present) so wondering if I just stick with OE and warranty compliance or look to after market at half the cost!
Not looking for any upgrades tbh just best option re longevity and quality. Anyone have any advice on what and where?
