Wrong seats and wrong brakes with high mileage. Honestly, the colour may be rare but there’s a reason, it is navy blue and really doesn’t do the shape any favours. Esquire said:

That's my car!It all depends what one wants - if you're after a Clubsport track car with all the associated rattles then it won't appeal. For a road car, it's been brilliant. Lots are coming out of the woodwork with 40+k miles on them, it's just a 911 CS at heart after all. The market is a buoyant at the moment and it's in line with other cars around that mileage.
Colour wise, we all like different things! This was my favourite one for a GT4.

I like the colour and the silver wheels look really good.
I agree ... is 4500 miles per annum now high mileage ?? If a solid service history and in good physical shape now I would say not ...Not everybody likes the bucket seats and the 981 GT4 is such a good sports car ... even seeing off the 991.1 GT3RS in the EVO car of the year 2015 ...

Oops sorry didn't mean to appear rude, and as you say not everyone wants uncomfortable buckets . Regarding seats, I flip-flopped so much, but ultimately hesitated on the buckets only because they’re not ideal for longer trips compared to the comfort. Ultimately, though, the buckets are a part of the experience of ownership and a necessity if a weekend car, IMHO.
The 981 is a great car, and this example looks in good condition, so no offence intended to the owner (as I see you’ve replied), for me, the colour is a bit muted, but it’s a personal preference thing at the end of the day.
No offence taken at all chaps! The standard OPC suggestions when speccing a car are always buckets and so on and for a weekend special or track car then great. I've taken this on trips and used it as a daily..ish. Heated 18 ways are super comfortable (my back isn't the finest) and really round the car off for certain use cases.
In the world of 120 / 180 / 200,000 mile 981 GT4s this is just about run in.
Re the ownership experience - I've not had it from new, and I suspect not many have given the temptation to make a quick buck early on when prices went crazy. It's been damn reliable for 33 odd thousand miles though, Porsche Warranty makes the cost of ownership much more of a known quantity and I can't say there's anything else I'd really rather under 100k or so for the use case. There are always little things one can improve, which I strived to do in my ownership - but I wanted a road bias car, not a track bias car. The difference in steering between an S / GTS and a GT4 is night and day, so I wanted all the positives of the more focused road car without as many drawbacks.
981 4's are bloody brilliant things though and to anyone on the fence, I couldn't recommend them more.
Of course if anyone fancies just handing me a briefcase full of cash I'll gladly keep it. The only proviso for whoever buys it is to give me first dibs on buying it back one day!

Son picked one up as his first car! More fun that the touring on the road, steering, break feel and playful chassis all felt great, it's a shame they held back the engine.

That’s one hell of a first car! Happy days for him.All though the engine is knobled it isn’t too hard to improve for not a lot of cost.
It’s one of the two most iconic caysters ever built the other is the 987 Spyder

That's a great road car and superb value. I need rear space for my MTB and that's the only reason I don't have one at that price especially with such low mileage (for a car). I don't see why those brakes are the wrong ones either as someone said. They seem ideal compared to the ceramics in terms of future cost containment.
