Didn’t realise that. My opc said you ger something on the b25 to sort of explain the price increase ?
I’ll check sure he mentioned parking sensors
Cross checked the standard spec for the new order against original order and there was nothing different other than an extra £1060 for the privilage of having the original order cancelled

Yeah true. I get it to around £1000 more for exactly the same car on my spec

Looks great, love the combo.

I think the silver / red combo will be the desired option in years to come, if looking at it from the value aspect. Taking away values, it would be my pick anyway.
Thanks,
The red works really well with the silver IMO. Done just under 500 miles so far this week, all miles for the fun of driving. Only other car in recent times that I felt like getting up at dawn for few hundred miles drive for the fun of it, was in my 918.

Good to hear. Would you recommend the 20mm pasm ?

Tbf, I have never driven a car without.

Personally if there is a lower -mm PASM option I would always take it as I prefer a more sporty ride. A recent US tester in his video below commented that the -20mm does indeed make a fair bit of difference. Is the -20mm only an option on the 25th? I note that on the stock GTS its only a -10mm option. The big point this car for me is the PDK, it allows you to use so much more of the engine revs a lot more of the time.

Thank you. Yes I think so the 25 edition is 10mm pasm standard. I’m gonna choose it. It’s only about £160
And yes I’m definitely having pdk. Does pdk suit the car perfectly?

It says lower -20mm, as an option so as its -10mm as stock does this mean that with the lower -20mm its now -30mm? This 4.0 engine was crying out for the PDK box, don't get me wrong I get the point about the interaction that the MT gives, but IMO, its just to long geared. You will be very impressed with this car, I mean like really impressed.

No, the figures are exclusive, not cumulative.

Ah thanks,
So the lower -20mm is only an option on the 25th then?

-20mm is standard on the GTS with -10mm instead as an option.

Yes, the front and rear parking sensors were always standard on the 25 with a camera as £464 option, but on a 2021 GTS they were optional. However the 2022 GTS gets them as standard with the camera also at £464. You’d think they would have thrown the camera in or something on the 25, but no.

Also, on the 2021 25 spec sheet, there was the shortened gear-lever on MT. However, that now seems to have disappeared on 2022. Will be interesting to see when someone gets hold of one in the flesh whether that’s an omission or deliberate change.

It would be good to see some pics of peoples specs - I’m on white or black and would like to see the neodyme stitching.

I was originally told Sept/Oct for the B25 and 2022 for 718 Spyder. Spyder has now gone into lockdown and only being told ‘later in the year’ on the 25. Beginning to think it may not materialise 😬

Still no dates on mine, it'll shortly be 6 months since the order went in and the allocation was confirmed but I'm in the middle of a house extension at the moment so attention has been focused elsewhere. In the meantime I've adopted a more laid back attitude, if it comes it'll come when it comes.

So it looks as though I've got an August build slot for my B25. Pretty happy to have a confirmed date and going in to my OPC in the morning to get all the details.

Pleased for you Voodoo Blue.

I’m beginning to lose hope. I’m not sure there’s anyone else on this thread who hasn’t been given a date (even if it is unreliable!)

Hello Porsche? Anybody there?

Thanks, there is hope if what I was told this morning is accurate

It would seem that the factory will be restarting 718 production in the next few weeks as they now have a supply of components to allow them to fulfil current orders to a point. I wonder if those components are the chips for the memory seats which I've read elsewhere are in short supply and of course the B25 has 14 way seats as standard scratchchin

My car has a current build start in late August with anticipated delivery in mid to late September so that seems to line up with the dates quoted by the others above.

The expectation is that there will be another batch built towards the end of the year so if you've been told your OPC has an allocation and you've got the slot you should be ok.

Hopefully the above will mean you'll get some good news soon.
