It's really quiet on that front isn't it - apart from Apolo? I've even been checking the classifieds as I expected to have seen one for sale through Daniel Myers or another dealer by now as well.

My understanding is that there are 2 cars for every dealer. However this is less than the 100 for the uk, so there is a question mark of how the remaining cars will be allocated. Some dealers have accepted deposits on these extra cars even though they are not formally allocated and also set up fall back lists in case of cancellations. Maybe you fall into this category?My dealer certainly seems to be frustrated by the whole thing, no dates yet for the 2 guaranteed ones. I don’t think they know any more than we do.

I heard something similar. They are apparently building a batch of B25s around August and those will have had build slots allocated by now. And then a second batch will be built later this year. There doesn't seem to be any logic on who is getting the first batch, it seems very much based on luck as far as I can see.cotswoldclio said:

I've been keeping a close eye on these as a hopeful indicator of when I might expect mine but so far Apollo's is the only one that's confirmed that I've heard of in the UK. I would think his car is the real deal as all the press cars in the videos on YouTube etc. are LHD as was the one they had round the back in the compound in Reading a couple of weeks ago. Right now I doubt there are more than a handful that have been delivered here but there certainly seems be a few in Europe based on the number for sale.

My Spyder is on the production line now and was due for delivery mid-July. I’ve been told today that it is being built and will then be held at the factory awaiting semi-conductors for the seats and some other parts. Delivery date to me unknown but might be ‘well into September’. My Boxster25 was September build and is now totally off radar.
I hope yours arrives to schedule but I’d steel yourself for potential delays!!
