Wow low miles/owner over £160k new now £130k how things have changed. Nice car though for someone who’s looking but then again with so many new cars for sale I presume a build slot is easy find.these days

I'm not sure that would have been over £160k 2 years ago when it was new. Almost certainly not when it was ordered, which may have been a year or more before that. Wild guess of £155k in that spec. So it has depreciated maybe 15% in 2 years/5k miles? Doesn't seem that terrible to me.
But yes, the world has changed in many ways. GT4 RS allocations became much easier to get from about a year ago (around the time I got one, which I don't believe to be a coincidence). You can find them new; you can find them used for less than people paid for them; but I have no reason to ask the OPC if you can order them, because I already have one.
Edit: Surprisingly, Auto Express had a look at slowest depreciating cars in the UK over 3 years back in January. 2 Porsches made the list. https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/best-cars/107122/car...

Yes it is about £165 k at today’s on the road price, I just popped it in configurator that’s still live to see what it might have been.
We have gone from a bun fight on release with silly overs to normal depreciation. But any one who bought/ buys a new 4RS at list with minimal extras won’t see much of a loss perhaps 30% over 3-5 years which is normal depreciation for a Porsche sports cars.
The 4RS is a fantastic car, and some thing I hoped Porsche would build since the first cayman in 2005 and is my dream car but I only want a one garage now as my priorities have changed and the 4RS does not make a good daily all year round car, not that it’s not capable but no good for ferrying children/grandchildren, tip runs etc.

The figures they have used don’t include extras which is a bit misleading when Japanese cars have very little extras to factory order. Most Macans end up at around £70k+ new, and the 2.0T is lease favourable over the MacanS
You rarely get much money back on options when it comes to trade in, and when GFV are calculated. Options are the profit centres for manufacturers, as well as the finance itself.Specifically for the GT4RS... as I've said before whilst everyone is of course free to make their own choices, once it was not announced as a numbered/plaqued car... going crazy on options never made financial sense... only 2 options have an impact on the driving experience... PCCBs and Mags.

The 4RS is good out the box there is really few options you need to add, not so long ago I did a spec and think it came in at £130k plus otr costs
Edit perfect spec.

So I understand that 718 will cease production in October this year. Anybody heard any different? I know there was some talk of an extension because nobody wants to buy electric.
Osnabruck has been announced as closing in 2025 - unless this changes or they switch production back to Zuffenhausen then it’s hard to see how 718 manufacture can continue. I think there are also issues with the compliance of mainstream 718 models beyond 2025 though I guess these might not be relevant for low volume examples.Porsche have dug themselves into a bit of a hole with the Boxster/Cayman - likely to be limited appetite for an all electric version, based on the Taycan/Macan track record and volumes now too low to justify updated versions of the current models. Osnabruck is only viable at the moment because it’s shared with VW.

Depends on how you define experience Specifically for the GT4RS... as I've said before whilst everyone is of course free to make their own choices, once it was not announced as a numbered/plaqued car... going crazy on options never made financial sense... only 2 options have an impact on the driving experience... Carbon air box adds to the sound and for me a must have!

Very expensive considering that this car has ST discs and has been on the market for a very long time. At a good price given the full MR car cost but for some reason MR doesn't convert into much of a price premium ??
