They'll be in stock, just not listed. They're creating an impression of short supply. That's my assumption smile.
I think they are selling, but also I can fully believe there is a decent element of shelf management occurring also.
Yup.

I've skin in the game so to speak, and would like values to hold. They probably will hold nominally - new prices of stuff constantly on the up and fewer comparable options.

Longer term, will I have a garage full of - effectively - scrap which I can't drive anywhere unless I pay grand for a tank of super taxed bio fuel? I tend to put that thought to the back of my mind tbh. and just enjoy.
They are selling slowly but massive deals to be had. I picked up my 2nd 4RS in December of 2025. Brand new car with every must have option and 20K off list. The deal was done on 20th December which helped, but none the less do not believe what dealers are telling you. They will drop their pants to shift stock.

The best deals I saw with low pre-reg mileage were on high spec cars including magnesium wheels (which I like) at around £30k under new list. But new is new !

Hardly any decent ones for sale compared to a few months ago.

You done amazingly well to get it for £20k off list. I was looking a couple of months ago when there were a lot more for sale and saw a handful of pre-reg ones for between £145-155k which I am guessing is around £10k under list. They all seem to have been sold now though, and given production stopped a good few months ago and so few cars are available right now we may see some of these 'hidden' ones come out.

Here is mine.

Took delivery a week or so ago. Delivered by lorry and I ve not driven it yet. I m going to wait until roads and weather improve. It s hard going!

I m super happy with spec, fairly basic, but just right for me. Looked even better than I expected when it got back from full ppf at topaz. As I said before I d have probably added ccbs if I had specced it.

Gentian, silver wheels, front lift, extended leather with arctic grey, chrono, Bose, black callipers, LEDs.

About 12% off list.

Nice one. I guess that just about covers PPF and New Car 1st registrations these days!!

Will be interesting to see your impressions of it once you can drive it.

Looks ace. FWIW if you want carbon brakes, keep an eye out for a decent, used set of Surface Transforms might be a better bet than OEM PCCBs anyway.

Thanks, it s very similar to the Porsche press release video, which I did note was quite cleverly used in the Sutcliffe review for example.

Thanks for the advice on ccb alternatives. I m due I ll make that upgrade at some point.

Committed to ClassicFX bolsters protectors yesterday.

I d quite like a silver set of mags

I’m interested how it’s going to compare to my Exige 420 which sits alongside it. Exige still has quite a bit more power to weight.

I think the 4RS will beat the Exige on noise; quality and quantity. biggrin

As for PCCB alternatives, only fly in ointment is that some OPC's will be funny (regarding warranty) if you leave them on the car when it's in for service. Others here may know/advise better.

Maybe, not strictly apples to apples but I much preferred my Exige 410 to my 981 GT4. I have thought about trying a GT4RS but I was that disappointed my GT4 I don’t know

Congrats, the non WS pack cars in the right colour look very classy.

Just seen this one pop up at RPM, https://rpmtechnik.co.uk/porsche-sales/vehicle/718... not sure about the colour of the wheels but seems like a great spec otherwise. OPC are now down to 6 cars, but interestingly they seem to have plenty of Spider RS's despite them being supposedly the rarer car of the two if I am not mistaken.

I’m fairly sure that car belongs to somebody on here. At that price I’d guess it’s on SOR.

GT4 - GT4RS are different animals.

I went from a 718GT4 to a 4RS, and other than looking at the same dash, it's just completely different all round, the induction noise is literally the first thing that hits you.

Previously had an S2 Exige S, and I can see the parallels between the two.

That little league table to me would look like this

GT4RS
718 GT4
410 Exige

981 GT4

Lots of cars you could fit in that gap the 981 is not a great car in my opinion. People spooge over it cause it doesn't have OPFs and it's rarer than the 718 but the steering kills it. Pretty dull really and no PDK available there's little point when the 718s are not that much more expensive. Alpine A110 can go in that gap quite nicely and the Emira.

The regular 718 GT4 is a lot better than it seems to get credit for I would say it's the best all round car I've ever driven. The RS needs the DSC controller to tame it for the road but the sort box/power increase and intake noise makes it an easy 1st place. I've stopped looking at cars since I bought mine. I've had a few of the other contenders and ticked some boxes but the RS there's a lot of car left to explore I feel and I've had it over a year.

My GT3RS was on steels and I fitted ST's which were fab (bought a used set and found the spacers to make them fit from JCR though I believe that Suspension Secrets can also help). Surface Transform would not ...

OPC York were quite relaxed about putting an extended warranty on the car but would have queried any braking issues given the non-standard aspect of this ... of course for anything serious I could just re-fit the steels !!
