For those considering 1
This seems like excellent value albeit no buckets and some miles
Makes for a great way into a desirable classic ?

Ad says it has the Life style package what on earth is that? This seems like excellent value albeit no buckets and some miles

I got the feeling it s a shell suit and a hat, just like Joey off Friends

It's like the Ferrari one except you don't have to wear beige trousers.

Did you used to own this?

52 grand
Starting to make the 987 spyder look expensive even though the red interior trim pieces look a bit chintsy

I've put my £1000 deposit down on this and I'll have a punt on it if it stays low.https://ebay.co.uk/itm/167623760669

Fingers crossed....
It finished at just over £52k with fees, I dipped out, I'd been tipped the wink it needed some work and I don't know how much but that's decent money I think for a blind sale knowing it needs at least some money spending on it.
I can see that turning up at £65k in a dealers somewhere.

I recall this being for sale a few years back for approx. 60k from a OPC. Due to the lack of sat nav etc, not many people pulled the trigger. seems like cheap motoring in all honesty as it has hardly depreciated. Knowing its history though, I would avoid as there are better examples out thereI can see that turning up at £65k in a dealers somewhere.
I’ve had my car (the one from Ashgood) for a week and I can say without question the answer to this thread is YES. So pleased with it. I’m lucky to have had a few special cars, 991 Speedster being closest to the Spyder. To me it feels just as special as that car did, but lighter, less serious and without the anxiety of a car worth over 250k. Loving the short shift option and it sounds so much better than I was expecting. The roof is fun to learn (I’m down to sub 4 minutes!), it’s also great for keeping your speed down since it makes a bit of a racket at anything over 75mph.

Wow, that’s an impressive comparison to the Speedster. I like the 987 as well and I’m even more keen after reading that. They do sound awesome, that’s one of my overriding memories of my first impressions.

Glad you're enjoying it! I've had mine 14 years now, which says a lot. One of the guys in CSC has a 991 Speedster and a 987 Spyder, so you're in good company!
The speedster is amazing and you great all the induction noise from the GT3 engine that you don’t get with the spyder, but it’s 5x as expensive (at least) and isn’t 5x as fun. Talking about Speedsters been thinking again about getting the windscreen surround wrapped in black.
I think visually it would look quite good and give the illusion of lowering the car, like the speedster or 918 Spyder (with Weissach pack).
Would always be reversible if I went off it.
Quick mock up ..

And here is one someone has already done..
