Any guesses on what it will fetch? £55k? Guards Red, buckets, nasty red interior plastic but easily dealt with.

I've looked at a few for sale previously, like white and gt silver, and all had colour matched interior plastic bits and bobs. Obviously gt silver less Barry. So I'm assuming these bits or additions are standard if not optioned without.

Yep.
And then isn’t there a bit of cloak and dagger surrounding it if I remember correctly? Something in its history?

matching interior trim is standard. Carbon was an option.
I have a white car, changed the exterior colour and wrapped the interior plastics.
At £55k it'd be a bargain IMO.
Mileage suggests it may have stranger PADM
I very rarely use the ICE, but as a driver I know I wouldn't be able to feel the 5-10kg difference taking it all out would make either.

Another auction type place so I'm not sure how realistic the price shown is at 45k

I like that barring the naff red interior bits but having owned a 987 Spyder i'd have the 981 every day of every week

Nothing cloak and dagger bad to my knowledge. But the spec does suggest it was a Porsche GB demo/press car.

I like the ICE delete, so wouldn't start bolting a CarPlay unit in.
I'd go silver wheels, or the OE graphite grey colour used on the Spyder.
All black centre console and door trims for me, dash trims could stay yikes (Barried or not) getmecoat

Not sure this is the press car - there have been a couple floating around in this spec with a higher than usual milage. Discussion of trims on PH always makes me smile; traded my similar spec car earlier this year after 8 years of ownership - never made any difference to how it made me feel or how it sounded.

You would have to really love ox red to buy that the interior is loud indeed. No sport button and no Buckets either but sensible money.

That looks like a good price to me ... at the time the PCCB's were considered a rare and desirable upgrade to the standard brakes ... ??

Good price for the buyer no question.

Wasn't a fan of the interior but at that price a pair of sunglasses and job done !

Fair enough, have clearly taken my eye off the ball price wise .

Very tempting at that price to move out of a very lovely 981 BGTS although maybe I'd find the roof a total faff

In general cars not selling or prices down so some sellers who are not realistic are hanging on to their cars while prices keep softening.

Only currently 1 987 Spyder for sale currently, So would assume plenty in storage now for winter.
So would this mean if a buyer was selling would they be able to command more money or less, or would the incoming winter mean no one would be buying and priced dip until spring 🤔

Depends who you talk to and what they believe.

If there are literally no buyers looking for a 987 Spyder right now then the only way you'll sell is if you make price low enough to entice someone not looking to buy right now.

If there are buyers waiting and no cars for sale then when one pops up it will sell even with a lofty price.

What story do you wanna believe?

I guess that makes sense,
There does however always seem to be people wanting a spyder, more so with a desirable spec.
So I guess it doesn't matter what time of year it is if it's the wrong spec.It ia good for sellers though knowing only very limited numbers will ever be for sale.
