Good morning, I found in my city, in Italy, an used Porsche Cayman 981 S form a private seller at a good price for the current market.

The car has a good price for the italian market and it is yellow (exterior), and with a dark red leather (interior).
it is fully equipped, like a gts, it has pasm, chrono, sports exhaust, heated steering wheel, seats with memory, etc.

What do you think about ?

Since being able to resell the car in a few years is an important point for me, I would like to know if you like this colour combination.

It’s not to my taste, I think it is an odd combo to have.

If price is very good, and you weren’t sure on the colour combo, a possible solution could be a wrap? Though resale down the line may not be helped.

McDonalds spec and I’m not loving it….

Jokes aside it’s a very strong combo which if you’re buying to keep as you love it is one thing, if you’re buying it with an eye on resale I’d personally avoid.

I like both the interior and the exterior, but it’s a bit challenging on the eye to have both on the same car. As has been said, if you love it, go for it. Whilst it may be a bit harder to find a buyer when you offload, you’ve said it’s up for a good price so it should all come out in the wash.

Jelly and Custard.

There is a Cayman in the UK that has been on the market with that colour combination.

I quite like it, but then I appreciate most won’t.

My old Cayman GTS had yachting blue leather, which I thought was really nice and different. When I sold it I was told a lot of dealers steered clear of them as they’re hard to sell.

Spec similar to my old 981 S, I loved it (apart from mine was red with black interior).

If you can live with the interior buy it! I think I could live with that combination, I however couldn't live with the burgundy with salmon combination I looked at once.

You’ll probably get hammered when selling on, especially if trading to a dealer….

It’s a limited market with that colour combination.

Love the exterior but couldn’t live with that interior. Difficult resell I’d imagine.

I'd rather be driving that in Italy than a 'normal' colour combo in the UK.

If you like it, buy it and enjoy it.

It wouldn't be one for me, but at the right price anything will sell - hence why you are interested in buying it.

If you are happy to buy cheap and sell cheap then buy it and enjoy it knowing you have less money sitting out there in the street.

If you are buying it cheap hoping to sell it at market price when you decide to sell it then probably not a great plan.

Thats a great combo, RHD cars are always specified in such boring combo's, don't take anyones advice from a RHD country.

So why are they having to sell such a well specced car cheap to sell it in a LHD country?

It is quite difficult to wrap the interior.

As someone says Ronald McDonald spec, I wonder if they modified the space round the pedals?

I keep on eye on Cayman 4.0 GTS and this one has been for sale for ages.

Looks to be a UK equivalent

Curious about the steering wheel, looks like an older wheel compared to what should be fitted to a 981??
