Congratulations, stunning looking car.
Have you tried a genuine Apple lead for car play plugged into centre console?
They are very fussy on leads, mine would charge but no car play until lead charge.

Was at Salon Privé yesterday and saw lots of Spiders out and about-I actually saw two none Weissach pack cars in guards red and they looked mega without the exposed carbon bonnet.

After viewing lots together, I think they really need a light coloured wheel. The offset looks all wrong if they're dark which is strange as Porsche are usually really good at getting the "stance" just right on their GT cars but in bright silver or gold they come back again.

Silver and lighter coloured wheels have made a big comeback in the last couple of yrs (thankfully!). Think the SRS is a great looking car much better to look at than the 4RS imo.

You went to Salon Privé !!!!!!!!!! ?? yikes
You'll be telling us next you've been on holiday for the last couple of weeks tongue out

With you on the painted bonnet "thing", though if I'm being brutally honest, a standard Spyder looks far less contrived compared with the SRS, which just looks overblown, and especially in WP form.

I know, it's heresy to say as much on here, so I'll getmecoat

Weissach with fully painted bonnet was the only choice for me. Here’s mine which is heading off for PPF before handover smile

Thank you! smile Yeah Racing yellow, went for the yellow stitching inside as well, seat belts and door pulls etc.

My first Porsche and I’m so excited. Shame I’ve missed all the good summer weather though, I ordered it back in March.

Get your bids in for this Sonderwunsch Panamerica Special SRS. Lots of good pictures on the Sotheby’s website of the special bits being added on. Quite like the interior and leather lined frunk.

Porsche appear to have announced a top tier ICE 718 derived
from the new BEV variant, by the end of the decade. This slide
taken from today’s financial briefing.

Thats interesting. 982RS can enjoy it’s position and maybe strengthening market value for at least another 3-4years then.
Then we’ll see how it compares to what is to come!

I suspect that whatever ICE provision comes in the updated 718 platform, it is highly likely to be T-hybrid based, or turbo charged at the very least. Unlikely to see a NA high revving engine.

Lots of SRS appearing in classifieds, including new stock cars being reduced over the last few days. Good few cars with less than 5k miles also

Sorely tempted given some of the savings being offered.

AFAIK one of only 6 produced in that colour. Shame it’s got comforts.

I went to look at one today. Were carbon splitters ever an option or the wing vents? Plastic looks a little cheap and nasty. How are owners getting on? I know cars aren’t about making money, what’s the current thoughts on residuals? Spending £120k odd at a dealer, are you looking at loosing circa 25% over 2 years?

Wing vents available at an eye watering price via Tequipment - nothing else OEM. Aftermarket options are available but you would have to change quite a lot of bits to remove all of the plastic and again you could spend a fortune on parts that are vulnerable. Carbon dipping of existing parts is a thing but no idea of cost or durability. The “pink” car created by Weissach has this.

Carbon dipping just seems all sorts of wrong. I think I’ve been spoiled by the beautiful carbon on my current toy car
