If your dealer thinks they will get three that means they actually will most likely have more.
Anyone actually know how many gt4rs cars dealers are getting, from what I can work out the opc near me has already had 3 delivered, but I may be totally wrong and they may of had more already.
Our OPC have delivered three already when I spoke to my Sales guy last week. They will get more no doubt.Anyone actually know how many gt4rs cars dealers are getting, from what I can work out the opc near me has already had 3 delivered, but I may be totally wrong and they may of had more already.
At first they thought they may only get one, so 3 already is a great result.
Be interesting to see if they get more allocations.

I’m hoping to get on the list, we’ll see. Have offered my GT4 as p/x to help sweeten the decision making process…
Best of luck, didn't help me offering a Python 718 pdk Spyder back. GT4RS said:
Porsche need to keep increasing production with cars like this. But sadly they choose not to as it creates hype around the brand and allows them to drawer others into other models.
Perhaps. But there is also an element of fleet emissions and the fact all other models are more profitable For me, I'm not interested because:

- it's a convertible
- even if I was into convertibles, the roof will be a pain in the UK with our changeable weather
- it's neither fish nor fowl - not a track car (no cage or harnesses) nor an interactive road car (no manual gearbox)
- very few cars coming, only the select few will get one
- it's fecking expensive

No tumbleweed here but I am getting an aroma of sour grapes?- it's a convertible. Exactly the point
- even if I was into convertibles, the roof will be a pain in the UK with our changeable weather. really get a grip
- it's neither fish nor fowl - not a track car (no cage or harnesses) nor an interactive road car (no manual gearbox) given the 4RS is just potentially the most sublime immersive road car with a power train to die for and the Spyder RS is the same but has no roof to enjoy it all the more I think interactivity will not be an issue
- very few cars coming, only the select few will get one discerning few please
- it's fecking expensive bargain at list

Tumbleweed blowing around in here!
Any one in a “promise”?
Many trying to get an allocation, or has the “dodgy” roof put you off (hopefully)?!
Its pretty quite, because as far as im aware offical numbers haven't been given out yet. Dealers know that will be getting at least 1 and are hopeful of getting 2.Any one in a “promise”?

Some customers have recieved confirmation that they will be getting the first car!
I dont think that they will have any problem selling them all despite the roof....its rarity will ensure that!
Personally i think its great and cant wait to get my hands on one.

Delighted to hear all the negativity. Maybe gives me a decent chance of getting one
Since everybody has their own opinion I personally don't see this as negativity ... surely it is their realism shared in the way that forums share things ?
Of course, the number of prime cars received and the money spent with OPC's could bear some correlation to the various views expressed.
I used to be a fan of the new cars when I could buy one, now I'm happy to keep and develop the last car that my OPC willingly sold me (8 years ago) and spend my cash on other automotive fun. Hence I also can't get excited ...
As you say, this gives somebody that falls for this car a better chance ... so long as they aren't all flippers I'm cool with this.
The challenge seems to be that a relatively high percentage are. A self fulfilling roundabout often with the OPC as the main financial beneficiary ?
