M-cup 2's.
I need to get the front number plate plinth installed, and weather next week looks ghastly so might even have to put that short trip off for a while!
I never have the plinth fitted and always get a stick-on plate from Highgate House Graphics, looks much better IHO. www.highgatehouse.co.ukI need to get the front number plate plinth installed, and weather next week looks ghastly so might even have to put that short trip off for a while!
So , I’m well past run in now , which I didn’t expect I’d get anywhere near when it turned out to be a Oct car , so that’s a great bonus .It may just be as I haven’t driven one for a while but this feels a bit stronger than my last 991.2 GT3 ( manual ) particularly in 2nd/3rd around the 7k + band . Maybe down to gearing more than anything else . Very happy so far . Maybe the last drive before the salt tomorrow…..

Many thanks for this and the other comments very helpful. But think I will keep the seats as stock, a big part of the SRS for me is that you can sit very low, this trumps a bit more back rest angle. Don't think that modification raises the seat height it merely tilts it by raising it slightly at the front the rear is still standard oem height and the backrest part is tilted slightly to give a less vertical position similar to the older p3 folding buckets of the 991.2 GT3.
Other thing to consider is the alteration would technically have to be declared on the insurance.
I’ve just been offered and taken up a PTS slot for a Spyder RS and I’m proper excited!! I’ve owned 987 and 718 Spyders and loved them, but they both just missed that little bit extra theatre and drama, OPFs and a long 2nd gear doing for the 718… It’s been quite a wait and this will be my first RS car from my OPC after purchasing half a dozen cars over the past 8 years.
Yes prices are softening and the one above shows that OPC’s just don’t want to be sat on stock right now. I was tempted to buy used but the standard colour offerings just don’t do it for me and i’m not a fan of the revealed carbon bonnet which many seem to have. So I told myself if I was to ever buy new it had to be PTS.
So will it depreciate, yes no doubt and I’m not arrogant enough to say I don’t care. However unless the world tares up it’s approach to climate change then this will be one of the very last cars of it’s kind. The ultimate Spyder specced how I want it is just too good a chance not to take up…

Was in OPC Portsmouth today putting a deposit down on a Cayenne. They have a beautiful, delivery mileage RS Spyder there for immediate delivery, £159k or thereabouts, certainly no overs.
How times have changed…when I had my new GT4 for 12 months and enquired about an RS Spyder (not Portsmouth but my local supplying OPC) I was politely told not to bother. Funds have moved on and now they’re available..

Looks lovely nice colour combo there.
Kids seats fit fine into the buckets if you are careful with your choice. Here is my 3 year old Grandson fast asleep in my 4RS. God knows how given all the din in there
Out of interest, would you mind sharing what seat you're using? I've been searching for a decent seat as my son will soon turn 3. He's over the 100cm height for many toddler seats now, and i'll be doing my research on the whole airbag topic before going ahead of course!Kids seats fit fine into the buckets if you are careful with your choice. Halfords sable R129 High Back Booster. It’s a good snug fit and the kids sit up quite high which is nice. And it’s fairly cheap Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
