For once I'd actually opened the big white envelope and read that last weekend. Good update Tyrone, enjoyed. Still waiting for ST to make my discs...
I did a wet, then damp, then very wet Croft in my GT4 RS a week ago, and I have to say that the improved geo, but probably most of all having the ride height, rake and spring rates sorted has really been worth it. I'm not going to say I didn't have any arse clenching moments, as Cup 2s through standing water at speed isn't my favourite, but the car feels responsive yet benign.
Suspension Secrets Matt commented that the back end looks like it may have "settled" a bit since they set it up on new springs. I've done 4 track days since then, but I think it may have dropped 5-10 mm first time it went through a big compression on the way home from them the day it was done. It could take some more rake.
Tyrone, you say the front springs being a bit soft doesn't matter so much on smooth circuits like Silverstone. The thing with getting it better sorted is the combination of improved confidence and feel on the brakes, coupled with better feel on turn-in. One second quicker on the "International" loop for me doesn't really do justice to the way it feels more like I've got it by the scruff of the neck. It really does make a big difference, especially with steel brakes and the standard bouncy pedal feel. (It actually feels less bouncy when the car doesn't dive at the front quite so much. Psychosomatic I'm sure, but it does.)
The other noticeable thing about the GT4 RS driving experience: I used to aim to do 2 track days a year, but sometimes only managed one. I've done 8 in less than 13 months since I got the 4RS. So it's definitely a car that makes me feel like getting out there.

Does anyone else with 4RS / SRS get the ticking sound at lowish rpm driving along? It resonates off barriers and walls as you drive at motorway speed and under light load.
Under heavy load and off the throttle it goes away. All my searching seems to indicate this is the injectors or fuel pump and is normal, but this seems to be mainly GT4 and Spyder related.
I’m thinking it’s just with everything being close behind you and the intakes emphasising the sound but even my wife noticed it and asked what the ticking was.
On the upside, now over 800 miles done in the month I’ve had it, just had my PEC day yesterday and it is such an amazing machine.
