Porsche can't update the engine number it can can only be done when there's a registered keeper on the car. Assuming the car is in "trade" status.

Given the number of 991s with new engines i think we'll reserve that term for the old aircooled cars (which have all been clocked anyway)
Mine hasn't
Mine neither, a pretty genuine 215,000K of fun.

Funny, that s missing lots of key options that would have knocked it off my list when I was looking;

Doom blue
No contrast stitching
No PDK
No PCCB
Doom blue....... aye, whatever.......
Almost exactly the same spec as my own. In over 4 years of ownership the amount of people who have stoped and commented saying what an amazing spec it is has really surprised me. From OPC mechanics when it's in for a service, hardened lifelong petrolheads, school kids & people who don't know anything about cars, it's been unreal to be honest.
Funnily though, nobody has ever crossed the street to call me a moron for not having having PCCBs or loud yellow stitching......... As for the age old pdk vs manual debate, just buy what you want, both fantastic, both different.

Gentian is my favourite colour in the current Porsche line up. Each to their own. They are fantastic cars and mine never fails to put a smile on my face and that’s all that matters for me.
But I am thinking that a 4RS may just put a bigger smile on my face. That’s one to be discussed over the holiday period with the wife.

I agree that Gentian Blue Metallic is the best 718 colour until you get into the silly options of Paint To Sample, and I certainly wouldn't class it as Doom blue.

I should have stated that I haven’t had a Gentian Blue 718, but I think it’s the colour that shows off the 718 best. But as always each to their own.

Doom blue is an actual term we would use in the trade!

It is popular though I note that the Abyss Blue in the Alpine A110 is very popular this is Doom blue as well. Not one for me personally but would definitely stock it.

Just don't paint the wheels gold/bronze. As previously mentioned it looks ste.

Nothing worse than black wheels imo, you just can’t make out any detail and every other car has black wheels now
