Oddly enough no mention of a new engine and no longer being matching numbers is that's still such a thing

Given the number of 991s with new engines i think we'll reserve that term for the old aircooled cars (which have all been clocked anyway)

Id have thought Porsche would update the engine number with the DVLA and then youd never know until somebody with a beard and an adenoidy voice decides to seek a heritage certificate from the factory.

Funny, that’s missing lots of key options that would have knocked it off my list when I was looking;

Doom blue
No contrast stitching
No PDK
No PCCB

Shows how different we all are .

I like the colour, the fact it's manual and I'd probably not notice the lack of contrast stitching although I do agree PCCB would look amazing.

Must be massively subjective as these are the precise things that would put it on my list although I don't know what contrast stitching is but I have a suspicion it's not crucial on a track focused car.

Of course it's completely subjective, I was merely pointing out the futility of marketing a car as "having all the right options"-it certainly wouldn't for me!

Gentian Blue is a beautiful colour by the way, I just wouldn't want a GT4 in it (GT3 Touring however...) and contrasting stitching gives the interior a bit of a simple lift. Similar in a way to the painted centre consoles/roll cages used to in the old days. Not for everyone admittedly.

If there's one thing JZM are good at, it's how to photograph cars and process the photos. It certainly won't look that good outside and/or in real life.

Assuming this has been done with the DVLA, would this not show up on a CarVertical or other report?

Whether someone would run a report on an approved used car is a different matter
